The “resistance”-minded Democratic party have been exploring a plethora of avenues in their impeachment obsession, hoping to finally pin down Teflon Don once and for all.
This scattershot approach to nullifying the 2016 election has yet to pay dividends, however, as the electorate looks upon the left side of the aisle with a rightful skepticism. They see a disorganized and flailing approach to a non-problem, and they can’t find any way to support a long and winding investigation.
One such approach to the “formal impeachment inquiry” announced just weeks ago has been to consider the President’s alleged misconduct on the subject of Ukraine a “campaign finance violation”. The idea is that the President used his office to gain something of value that could be used in his reelection, at least according to the Democrats.
Now, in connection with this concept, two of Rudy Giuliani’s associates have been arrested.
Two associates of Rudy Giuliani, President Trump’s personal attorney, have been arrested and charged with campaign finance violations.
Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman were arrested at Dulles International Airport outside Washington, D.C., on Wednesday night, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Manhattan.
The two reportedly aided Giuliani’s efforts to have Ukraine launch an investigation into former Vice President Joe Biden. It is unclear if the charges are related to the Ukraine scandal.
The timing of the arrest, just hours after the President openly defied Congress with a letter declaring his stance of noncooperation, is no accident, and sends a clear message to those who would look to further “obstruct” their investigation.Don't forget to Like Freedom Outpost on Facebook and Twitter, and follow our friends at RepublicanLegion.com.
