This is nothing new. A black man is calling all white people guilty. He knows that a large majority of whites in America feel as though they have wronged the black community. Because they are white, they have a sense of guilt, and he wishes to exploit that guilt.
The Washington Times reports:
Georgetown University professor and author Michael Eric Dyson says white people should keep an “individual reparations account” to make donations to black groups and atone for America’s history of slavery and racism.
Mr. Dyson was discussing his forthcoming book, “Tears We Cannot Stop: A Sermon to White America,” with New York Times Magazine when he touched on a subject in his book that talks about white people making reparations on the local and individual level.
What Dyson wants to see is the guilt of whites leading them to give money to racist organizations, or giving money to people for work they have not done. This is a typical socialist ploy. He wants whites to pay for the overthrow of the current socio-political order in America.
The Times continues:
The Times’ Ana Marie Cox said Mr. Dyson suggested donating to the United Negro College Fund or paying “the black person who cuts your grass double what you might ordinarily pay.”
“Look, if it doesn’t cost you anything, you’re not really engaging in change; you’re engaging in convenience,” Mr. Dyson said. “You’re engaged in the overflow. I’m asking you to do stuff you wouldn’t ordinarily do. I’m asking you to think more seriously and strategically about why you possess what you possess.
What we have to ask is simple. Can you be guilty of something that you have not done? Should sons and daughters be held guilty for their parent’s sins? This is wrong at the very heart of itself. We do not have to argue that sending a person to jail for another’s crimes is unjust.
And this is exactly what God tells us in Ezekiel 18:20.
The person who sins will die. The son will not bear the punishment for the father’s iniquity, nor will the father bear the punishment for the son’s iniquity; the righteousness of the righteous will be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked will be upon himself.
If you hate those who are different from you, you should repent. If you own slaves, set them free. If you do not fall into these two categories, then ignore this foolishness.
