The frustration of the Democratic Party is no longer a silent feature of their Trump Derangement Syndrome. It has instead become one of the most prominent symptoms of the barely-fictional affliction, and it’s dragging the entire national political discourse down into the mud.
From the very beginning of President Trump’s time in the White House, there has been an angst simmering on the left side of the aisle. For every win that the Commander in Chief counts as his own, there is an overtly radical reaction coming from somewhere within the Democratic Party.
Last night at the State of The Union Address, that turmoil manifested itself in House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s defiant act of tearing up the President’s speech just as he concluded delivering it to the people.

Now, a former Speaker of The House is calling Pelosi out for her actions, and suggesting that she face censure on account of it.
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-GA) called on current House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to be censured for ripping up a copy of President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address on Tuesday evening.
“As Speaker of the House for four State of the Unions by a President of the other party I am disgusted and insulted by the viciously partisan action of Nancy Pelosi tearing up the speech,” Gingrich wrote. “She isn’t clever or cute her childishness insults our American traditions -should be censured.”
Earlier in the night, as Trump ascended to the podium, Pelosi was snubbed by the President as she reached for a handshake – possibly setting up the speech-ripping stunt.Don't forget to Like Freedom Outpost on Facebook and Twitter, and follow our friends at RepublicanLegion.com.
