Carly Fiorina on the "Tonight Show" is another example of the "rock star" type politicians trashing up government. Fiorina jumped on the bandwagon to "chastise" Dr. Ben Carson for his statement indicating he could not support a Muslim for the presidency. Carson, in his explanation, is correct.
Here is the exchange on the show.
Watching Fallon "suck up" to the former CEO of Hewlett Packard, who sold equipment to Iran against sanctions, is enough to make one barf -- no bulemia needed. Fallon brought up the issue of Dr. Carson's statement saying, "Ben Carson is in a lot of trouble now because he is saying that he would not advocate a Muslim being president." Fiorina responded declaring Dr. Carson wrong and proceeded to explain why.
"Well, I think that's wrong. It says in our Constitution that religion cannot be a test for office. It's also true that this country was founded on the principle that we judge each individual and that anyone of any faith is welcome here. I actually believe that people of faith make better leaders. Where they are Christians, as I am, my faith has sustained me through some very bad times. I've battled cancer, I've lost a child, I've been tested. But, whether it's a person of Christian faith, or Jewish faith, or Muslim faith, or other faiths, I think faith gives us humility and empathy and optimism and I think those are important."
Fiorina confirmed she would be fine with a Muslim president.
Fiorina is correct that a "religious test" is not required for a candidate to hold any office in the US -- Article VI, paragraph 3 of the Constitution of the United States of America. However, she appears to not understand or know what the founders meant by "religious test," which has been explained in a previous article at Freedom Outpost. Fiorina is parroting CAIR's executive director Nihad Awad without full knowledge of the meaning found in Article VI, paragraph 3. At the last reading of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, which was today, no where did the founding principle of "judge each individual" emerge, nor the principle of "anyone of any faith is welcome here" come across. The Constitution limits government and establishes the tenets government is to follow and uphold. The Declaration of Independence established the "self-evident truths" compelling the separation of the American colony from its British rule and declared, "We have warned them [British brethren] from time to time of attempts by their legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us ... They too have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity. We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our separation, and hold them, as we hold the rest of mankind, enemies in war, in peace friends."
It doesn't sound like the founders "judged each individual" Englishman during that time. Certainly, it is not happening in America with the surge against law-abiding citizens owning guns, where all gun owners are "judged" by the actions of maniacs. Let's not forget the hatred being generated toward Christians and how Christians are "judged." Fiorina is confused with "judgment" of an individual under the law according to due process as opposed to "judging of one's character." The familiar phrases "guilt by association" and "birds of a feather flock together" come to mind when "judging" an individual on character. As my grandmother once said, "You can always judge someone's character by the company they keep."
The United States graciously extended a welcome to individuals who come here seeking freedom and liberty regardless of religion. However, that "welcome" came with a condition -- assimilation to our laws, customs and tenets of government. Unfortunately, some immigrants refuse to assimilate to our laws, customs and tenets of government meaning they overstayed their welcome. Like a houseguest that has "taken advantage" of one's generosity, these non-assimilators need to be shown the door.
Fiorina is correct that "people of faith make better leaders." However, the faith to which she refers is the Judeo-Christian faith, which instills a moral code lacking in other religions. All others are incompatible with this nation's principles and founding. It is the Judeo-Christian, more explicitly, the Christian faith, that teaches "humility" before God, caring, compassion, understanding and an outlook of hope.
Where is the humility in Islam? Where is empathy in Islam? It's seen every day when they kill an individual because of not being Muslim. It's seen daily as they deprive their own children of food and water while they protest European governments, trash Europe's countryside, and exhibit violence toward those they over-run. It's seen as they issue threats as "soon we'll be the majority." It's seen as they teach their children to murder, use their infants for their sick perversions, and erode the innocence of children by exposing them to atrocity. So much for the humility and empathy of Islam. Forget optimism. It builds nothing, cares for nothing, sustains nothing and destroys everything. There is nothing to be optimistic about with Islam.
As far as judging an individual equally under the law in Islam, forget it. It doesn't exist. There is no due process or presentation of evidence unless the say-so of five camel herders counts as evidence with 2 being deaf and 3 being blind and all five men. Women have no rights and certainly would not hold any political office. Females who are raped under Islamic law are thrown in prison or murdered. Lots of empathy there.
Fiorina though is "fine with a Muslim president." Good thing she is since there is one sitting in the White House. Since she is okay with a Muslim president, she's evidently "fine" with his support of Muslim terrorists groups. She seems perfectly fine with his practice of taqiyya, his deceptions and arming of ISIS. Fiorina accepts the Muslim in the Oval Office supporting the Islamization of America while trashing, trampling and wiping his backside with the Constitution. She's satisfied with Obama appointing members of terrorist organizations in key positions in the administration, least of which is in the intelligence community. The list could go on; but, this is what it means to be "fine with a Muslim president." It means allowing the destruction of a nation out of fear of being called names, being ostracized, and losing votes. It means placing political correctness above all else, indirectly supporting an ideology anti-thetical to this nation's founding, and thumbing your nose at God for refusing to call out evil.
While our "political leaders" engage in ostrich behavior in competition for the "politically correct statement this week" award, the Muslim in the Oval Office continues his destruction of this nation heralded by idiots, liberals, Democrats, RINOs and the incredibly stupid. If Fiorina believes she's "been tested," the personal tragedies in her life she believe "tested" her will pale in comparison to the true test coming. For no Christian individual has truly been tested until it comes down to acknowledging God and Jesus Christ as Our Lord and Savior or denying Him to save your life at the hands of an Islamist. The true test has been taken and won by Middle Eastern Christians, as Fiorina champions a Muslim president.Don't forget to Like Freedom Outpost on Facebook, Google Plus, & Twitter.
