Democrat Al Green: If Dems Win House In November, We’ll Likely Impeach Trump

Well, I suppose this is what we expect from the Democrats.  However, what is most troubling is that they seem hell bent on impeaching Trump on something they don’t even have any evidence on rather than things that are clear violations of the Constitution or law.  Yet, Rep. Al Green (D-TX) seems hopeful that his party will take back the House of Representatives in 2018 and issue articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump.

Oh, if Republicans had have only done their duty with so much joy against Barack Hussein Obama Soetoro Sobarkah over his many documented crimes.

“There’s a good likelihood there will be articles Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) will lead the charge with articles of impeachment either.  When asked if he thought she would lead, Green said, “Every member of the House is accorded the opportunity to bring up impeachment.”

“This is not something the Constitution has bestowed upon leadership,” said Green. “It’s something every member has the right and privilege of doing. I am not sure that there will be members who are going to wait for someone else if that someone else, doesn’t matter who it is, is declining to do it.”

Pelosi said during a press briefing last month, “I don’t think we should be talking about impeachment. I’ve been very clear right from the start.”

“On the political side I think it’s a gift to the Republicans,” she added. “We want to talk about what they’re doing to undermine working families in our country and what we are doing to increase their payrolls and lower their costs.”

Last month, Green said Trump’s travel ban and his opposition to transgender people serving in the military, along with his immigration policy were all reasons to impeach him.

One wonders what the issue is since those things are a matter of law, not just policy.  No wonder he couldn’t get anyone to back him.

Green brought articles of impeachment to the House floor, but they went nowhere.

He wasn’t the only one to do so, either.  Other Democrats filed articles of impeachment last year, but nothing came of it.

If they wanted something impeachable, they should have dealt with Trump unleashing missiles on Syria without congressional authorization per the Constitution and without actually verifying it was Assad, something that was exposed after both strikes, but they were all for that lawless action.

In the end, Democrats are probably not going to win in November. According to recent numbers, Republicans have taken a 6 points lead over Democrats.

Of course, polling numbers mean little this far out, but it appears that many people are overall happy with how things are or they are simply following a team jersey, one or the other.

However, when it comes to Republicans, Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R-WI) is in the crosshairs.

Breitbart reports:

Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) on Monday evening became the first sitting GOP member of the House of Representatives to publicly call for the removal of House Speaker Paul Ryan now, rather than on Ryan’s planned schedule post-election, during an interview on Breitbart News Tonight on SiriusXM.

During a discussion with host and Breitbart News Senior Editor-at-Large Rebecca Mansour about Ryan’s failures on immigration with a looming pro-amnesty discharge petition hanging in the balance, Gosar hammered the entire current leadership team.

“Part of the problem is I think the whole leadership team is toxic,” Gosar said. “And that’s part of the problem. How did we choose this? These are the same group of people that conveyed the jurisdiction of the omnibus. These are the same group of leaders that haven’t honored a promise.”

Gosar pointed to the founding chairman of the House Freedom Caucus, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), as a solid replacement of Ryan when the time comes. Mansour had asked him about a call from Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney—a Freedom Caucus House member before he joined President Donald Trump’s administration—for Ryan to be removed now to force House Democrats to demonstrate in a floor Speakership vote their true allegiance to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.

“There’s a movement of people that are backing Jim Jordan from the Freedom Caucus,” Gosar said. “He would be a great person to get back to having leadership for change and well-statute reform. That’s how you look at this: it’s got to be somebody that is going to bring back good process which brings back good policy which builds good politics. This is problematic.”

Anyone with half a brain and paying attention knew that Paul Ryan was nothing more than RINO John Boehner bat boy.  He pretty much gave Barack Hussein Obama Soetoro Sobarkah everything he wanted as soon as he took the gavel.

While Jordan is better than Ryan, he has an OK record but has compromised on some pretty serious legislation.

We’ll see what happens as things progress closer to November, but I think we’re only going to see Democrats become more unhinged if they lose more seats.  We’re going to see them become more vocal in their hysteria, finger pointing and outright lying, as well.

In fact, that’s all we’ve been seeing since Trump won.
