Speaking to reporters today Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley urged protestors to “stand up and say they’re not happy if they’re not happy,” when President Trump visits after the city’s mass shooting.
When asked about potential Trump protestors, she said: “As you cover me all the time, you know I have lots of protesters all the time. Even my friends protest me from time to time. So I’m glad that they’re using their right to give free speech comment. Look, I know that he has made his bed, he’s got to lie in it. He hasn’t, you know —his rhetoric has been painful for many in our community. And I think that people should stand up and say they’re not happy if they’re not happy.”
When asked about President Trump’s remarks on the shootings: “I’m disappointed with his remarks. I mean, I think they fell really short. He mentioned, like, gun issues one time. I think watching the president over the past few years over the issues of guns. I don’t know if he knows what he believes, frankly.”
Is this really what Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley should be focused on at a time like this?
This Mayor from Dayton Ohio, Nan Whaley is inciting violence. She is putting out a call to violent groups like Antifa and Black Lives Matter to gather and protest President Donald Trump’s visit to Dayton. She will have blood on her hands if violence erupts.
Hopefully, the roads and streets will be lined with Trump supporters, waving Trump 2020 flags.
C’mon, the people of Dayton have to be smarter than to elect this person as Mayor. Please, let the recall begin in 3, 2, 1…..

They don’t care about unity. It’s all about political attention and hating our president and his supporters. She should stand in solidarity with @POTUS as he addresses this suffering community. Instead, she chooses division.

Who is the person who is displaying hate, Ms.Mayor? Not the Prez. Look in the mirror.
