Finding yourself on the end of a liberal social media purge can be disheartening, especially when your oppressors are being so blatant and blasé about the whole thing.
But, for some, this constant harassment by the man provides a sort of badge of pride. It vindicates that what you say actually matters, at least to someone, and enough so to draw the ire and negative publicity that comes with wholesale omitting someone from using your product or service.
Conservative activist Laura Loomer would certainly fall into that second category, and that sort of resilience will come in handy…on the campaign trail.
Loomer didn’t respond to a request for comment on her bid. In June, Loomer told a Florida politics blog that she was considering running for the southern Florida seat, and claimed that she thought she could beat Frankel in the general election.
If Loomer defeats the other three Republican candidates who have declared for the primary, though, she’ll face incredibly long odds against Frankel, who has been in the House since 2012. Frankel didn’t even have a Republican challenger in 2018, and defeated her Republican opponent in 2016 by more than 27 percentage points.
Loomer has been deplatformed by all major social media channels over her beliefs – a fact that will force her campaign to develop a unique strategy in the race.
At this point, Loomer is considered by many to be a long shot, but that’s exactly what they all said about a certain real estate mogul from New York City.Don't forget to Like Freedom Outpost on Facebook and Twitter, and follow our friends at RepublicanLegion.com.
