Congress Overrides Obama’s Veto of 9/11 Bill – Obama Calls it a Mistake

In response to Barack Hussein Obama Soetoro Sobarkah’s veto of legislation that would allow families of victims of 9/11 to sue Saudi Arabia for their role in the attacks, the Senate voted on Wednesday to override his veto with an overwhelming majority.

By a vote of 91-1 in the Senate and 348-77 in the House, Congress overrode Obama’s veto. This is the only veto Congress has actually passed in the entire two terms that Obama has usurped the Oval Office.

“I look forward to the opportunity for Congress to override the president’s veto, provide these families with the chance to seek the justice they deserve and send a clear message that we will not tolerate those who finance terrorism in the United States,” Senate Republican Whip John Cornyn of Texas said in a statement last Friday following the veto.

Once Congress voted on Wednesday, Obama seemed to have forgotten any notion he put forth concerning giving up national sovereignty and declared, “It was a mistake. If we eliminate this notion of sovereign immunity, then our men and women in uniform around the world could potentially start seeing ourselves subject to reciprocal laws.”

You think? Aren’t they already having that done to them? I think they are. Furthermore, didn’t Obama just address the United Nations and basically call for giving up national sovereignty? Oh, that was mainly a message to the united States. Didn’t he also address member of NATO with the same type of message? Why, yes, he did.

“This is a dangerous precedent and it’s an example of why sometimes you have to do what’s hard. And, frankly, I wish Congress here had done what’s hard,” he added.

Then he continued, claiming it was a political vote, “If you’re perceived as voting against 9/11 families right before an election, not surprisingly, that’s a hard vote for people to take. But it would have been the right thing to do.”

Well, this is the man who said he would side with the Muslims, isn’t it? This is the man that bowed to the kings of Saudi Arabia and offered apologies to the world, right? This is the man that refuses to recognize Islamic terrorism as Islamic terrorism, right?

Barack Hussein Obama Soetoro Sobarkah is an enemy to the American people and thus, a friend to America’s enemies. While I’m happy to see the House and Senate work together to advance this legislation, should we not also ask of them to impeach this treasonous usurper and bring criminal charges against him and justice? And lest you think my comments about his usurpation are just conspiracy theory, even Homeland Security could not verify that Obama is legally able to flip hamburgers at your local McDonald’s. It would have saved us a lot of grief had they done this years ago when he was violating the Constitution.
