There’s no beating around the bush here: Barack Obama was a wildly popular president among liberal voters.
The two-term democratic Commander in Chief still holds a wild favorability rating on the left side of the aisle – a figure that CNN has been touting regularly in the days following Wednesday night’s contentious debates. The reason for this post-presidential factoid being shoved down the nation’s throat is that, in an attempt to take down 2020 frontrunner Joe Biden, a massive swath of candidates took to arguing that they didn’t care for many of Obama’s policies.
Well, at least now they don’t care for them.

The piling on of criticisms has irked a great many over at the liberal news network, including primetime anchor Don Lemon, who used his platform to both defend the former President and admonish the debate participants who sullied his name.

Lemon said, “I was sitting there on the stage with all of them wondering, why is — wow, why are they attacking the former president? And all I could think about was Clinton and Gore. Clinton, Gore, Clinton, Gore and what lessons were learned.”
Lemon went on to explain how these politicians should campaign.
“If you think that Trump is the existential threat, why are you tearing each other down?
This outburst is not only shallow, but it belies the liberal networks’ overt bias as well.
If Lemon and his bosses believe that the candidates are going a little too hard on Obama now, just wait until the DOJ declassifies intel regarding his administration’s actions during the formative stages of the RussiaGate conspiracy theory.
