Guns are selling like crazy right now. Shelves are getting bare and ammo is scarce. In one meme making it's way around Facebook, Senator Feinstein is depicted as "Gun Salesman of the Year."

The mere threat of more gun restrictions have sent firearms and ammo flying off the shelves. Guys like me are trying to add to the stockpile and others are now buying their first gun.

For those looking to make their first purchase, the question of what to buy looms large. Assuming you can find a store with much left in stock, there's quite a few options from which to choose. Do you first need a rifle? Something like an AK-47 or AR-15 maybe? Or should you get a nice revolver? What about a shotgun? There are many options.
