The First Amendment is under attack in unprecedented ways today, and there are few out there willing or able to speak out about it.
While it should be common sense at this point, the freedom of speech is the ultimate barometer for tyranny. If the people are unable to speak the truth, then the truth itself becomes nothing more than a commodity, to be sold to the highest bidder.
In this case, the highest bidders on the freedom of speech reside in Silicon Valley, meddling with the truth via their gatekeeping of social media. These technological giants are restricting free speech on their platforms to behoove someone, not everyone, and this exclusion flies entirely in the face of the American ethos.
In order to combat this, an intrepid group of freedom fighters plan to congregate this fall in Atlanta, Georgia for an event entitled Censored.
From the CensoredEvents.com website:
Rather than debate issues publicly or agree the first amendment applies to all, they hide behind their keyboard and push a few buttons to shut down facebook pages, twitter accounts, Paypal accounts, the list goes on.
To be a conservative now in parts of this country is to be an outcast. Be a patriot and love your country, and you’ll be called a Nazi – a term used so loosely, it’s an insult to the millions who were slaughtered in the Holocaust.
Republicans may control the White House and Senate (for now), but the progressive left controls the media, colleges, Hollywood and Silicon Valley and they are effectively and radically changing the future of this country.
With this in mind, we’re putting on one of the most important events of the year: Censored.
We are in a battle for the future of America and for our children and grandchildren.
Scheduled speakers so far include Dinesh D’Souza , Gary Demar, Doug Giles, and Dr. Gina Loudon.
Tickets start at $75 and are on sale now. Additionally, there are discounted rates for children, military members, and senior citizens.
