Canadian Network Cuts Donald Trump Out of ‘Home Alone 2’

There is a very real fervor surrounding President Donald J. Trump, and not all of it is rational or enthusiastic.

The liberal left seems to absolutely despise the American Commander in Chief, frequently lashing out in frightening and flailing ways.  There is even a name for this behavior:  Trump Derangement Syndrome, which is just barely a fictional affliction at this point.

It isn’t just in the United States where this attitude exists, either, as the anti-Trump drivel is seeping into foreign soil as well.  Take Canada, for instance, where the President’s cameo in the movie Home Alone 2 was removed for a recent holiday broadcast.

Canadian Broadcasting Corporation has removed a cameo scene featuring an appearance from Donald Trump in its broadcast of the film Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.

A 10-second cameo scene in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York — which shows Donald Trump giving Kevin McCallister (played by Macaulay Culkin) directions to the hotel lobby — has been removed by Canadian Broadcaster Corporation (CBC).

The plot thickened as social media users reminded the world that the CBC is actually government funded.

“You guys are the biggest bush league ‘journalists’ of all time,” tweeted one user. “Editing out Trump’s cameo in Home Alone 2. What kind of state-sponsored bullshit it that? #Defund”

“State-funded broadcaster @CBC deleted this scene featuring Donald Trump from their broadcast of Home Alone 2,” tweeted another.

President Trump’s brief appearance in the sequel was also the subject of a Wikipedia controversy after one of the site’s editors added a note to the movie’s entry to state that President Trump is the “only member of the cast to be impeached”.
