"Islamophobes" are off the hook this week. "Honor killing" is the new racist term. Canadian Muslims are fighting the use of the term for its direct implication to Islam. Enough beating around the bush, because it is undeniably specific to Islam. Political correctness has no place when dealing with this repulsive topic. But throw in the racist label and it rears its ugly head. Today, everything is racist, except Christian and Jew bashing.
In a much needed break from the absurdities in Washington, leave it to Canadian Muslims to bemoan the phrase "honor killing" as racist. Yes, the act where a woman is brutally beaten, disfigured by acid, beheaded, and stabbed to death, among other repulsive actions, due to matters relating to obedience and modesty just oozes racism.
If anyone should be upset by this, it should be Muslims themselves, specifically women. They're the ones being subjected to this punishment by their families. Instead of howling about it as a public racial slur, they should speak out about the barbarity of the practice.

But that's not going to happen. Canadian officials are using federal funding to investigate honor killing and this has the Canadian Muslim community up in arms. Are they just trying to fight any outside investigation into a specific act that could expose the "religion" for what it is: death, violence, and jihad? Or are they that blind to reality?
It's unlikely that they're not aware of the truth. But in today's politically correct world, maintaining the facade of the religion of "religion of peace" is all that matters. Never mind the horrific brutality of honor killings and how they destroy women and entire families.
Every year, according to United Nations reports, 5,000 women worldwide are killed for reasons of "honor." In the United Kingdom alone, more than 3,000 such honor crimes occurred just in 2010, according to a study by the Iranian and Kurdish Women's Rights Organization (IKWRO). The vast majority of those crimes, the organization states, were committed by Muslims, though Sikhs and Hindus have also been known to commit honor-related crimes.
And this is where the main area of contention is. That these killings and attacks occur amongst other religions. But statistically, the number of honor killings amongst other religions are miniscule and completely insignificant to those committed by the followers of Islam. So now who's racist?
The Canadian program to combat honor killings started in 2007, after a series of killings that included the death of two young women and a young man. And soon after the program was announced, the father and brother of a 16 year old Toronto native Aqsa Parvez mercilessly strangled her to death because she refused to wear her a hijab, a scarf.
One of the most abhorrent honor killings in Canada occurred in 2009 when Mohammad Shafia, his wife Tooba Yahya and their son Hamed, were accused of drowning Hamed's three teenage sisters and his father's first wife from a polygamous marriage. The women’s bodies were discovered submerged in a family car in the Rideau Canal at Kingston Mills in 2009.
They were all convicted of first degree murder in early 2012. And also in 2013, Canadian Muslim Nasira Fazli was stabbed to death so profusely by her husband that there was literally nothing left of her upper body. She was shredded to death. She left behind a 17 month old son who will never know his mother.
A manual of Islamic law certified as a reliable guide to Sunni orthodoxy by Al-Azhar University says that “retaliation is obligatory against anyone who kills a human being purely intentionally and without right.” However, “not subject to retaliation” is “a father or mother (or their fathers or mothers) for killing their offspring, or offspring’s offspring.” (‘Umdat al-Salik o1.1-2).
Honor killing is permissible by Islamic law, but for all the data that ISLAM is the reason for honor killings, so many resist labeling the religion as the cause of these acts. Canadian Muslims liken honor killing to domestic violence. The two acts could not be more different.
"When women of color are killed, we ask these larger questions around their culture. We ask what's wrong with their entire people--their culture, their religion--instead of a particular person," Itrath Syed, who is pursuing a Ph.D. in "Islamophobia" in Vancouver, for instance, told Women's e-News.
"Honor violence involves a kind of ideology, which you don't find in domestic violence," Carla Rus, a psychiatrist in the Netherlands, points out. "In [Islamic] cultures, where church and state are not separated, it's difficult to distinguish whether honor violence comes through cultural or religious motives – culture and religion are inseparable in those cases."
This is the answer. Domestic violence is about a man's personal self respect, while honor killing is about an offense toward god. Honor killing is 100 percent ideological. It is both cultural and religious, since the two cannot be separated. This is the definition of Islam. This is why the West cannot possibly convert an Islamic culture to Western style democracy, and why the religion is completely ignored for what it truly is.
But in an imaginary world where Islam is peaceful and only "Islamophobes" want to perceive it as otherwise, honor killing is racist. This is pure propaganda, much like the idea of "white privilege." It's nothing but ridiculous lies. This is not a "Western Propagated Myth."
Honor killing is brutal torture and malicious murder. If it's racist, so what. It's true. And until it's confronted by the people, nothing will change. Ignoring the facts and slapping a racism label on something doesn't negate truth.Don't forget to Like Freedom Outpost on Facebook, Google Plus, & Twitter.
