And so it begins. For those who know the true intent of Muslims and organizations such as CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations), you will recognize what the co-conspirators in the Holy Land Foundation trials are attempting. Those who are blind to their subversive intents will nod in agreement without ever questioning those intent on our destruction.
“In fact,” Awad continued, “the Muslim declaration of faith (shahada) states: ‘There is no god but God.'”
In other words, this man is suggesting that Muslims follow the God of the Bible despite the fact their shahada states, “There is no god but Allah.” But, what he is really doing is trying to sneak in a rhetoric in order to perpetrate stealth conversion. Awad’s essay appears on the CAIR website and goes into great detail to explain his foolish comparison.
According to the Daily Caller, Awad’s essay is a response to Wheaton College’s intention to fire political science professor Larycia Hawkins after she donned a hijab to wear until Christmas to show her support for Muslims who face bigotry. Wheaton College, an evangelical Christian college, claimed Hawkins stated in a Facebook post in December that Muslims and Christians worship the same God. Her December 10th post read, “I stand in religious solidarity with Muslims because they, like me, a Christian, are people of the book. And as Pope Francis stated last week, we worship the same God.”
This is not the first time Hawkins has been controversial at the Christian college. Prior to this incident, Hawkins clashed with the college administration on matters of religious orthodoxy, photos showing her attending a house party in Chicago last year the day of the gay pride parade, and authored a paper that suggested she supported Marxism.
The essay by Awad entitled, “Our Religion is One — Muslims and Christians Worship the Same God,” is absolute garbage in the attempt to scrub Islam of its promotion of death, oppression and vile practices. Read a portion of his essay to see where Awad is engaging in taqiyya.
Now one might claim that Muslims worship “Allah,” not “God,” but that would be in willful ignorance of the fact that “Allah” is merely the Arabic translation for “God” and that all Arabic-speaking Christians refer to “Allah” in their prayers.
Muslims commonly use either “God” or “Allah” when referring to the single deity. Islam’s Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Both in this world and in the Hereafter, I am the nearest of all people to Jesus, the son of Mary. The prophets are paternal brothers; their mothers are different, but their religion is one.”
In the Quran, Islam’s revealed text, God clearly states the unity of monotheistic faiths:
“Say: ‘We believe in God, and in that which has been bestowed from on high upon us, and that which has been bestowed upon Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and their descendants, and that which has been vouchsafed to Moses and Jesus, and that which has been vouchsafed to all the [other] prophets by their Sustainer: we make no distinction between any of them. And it is unto Him that we surrender ourselves.'” (The Holy Quran, 2:136)
God also states: “(Rest assured that) those who believe (in the Quran), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians. . .whoever believes in God and the last day and performs good deeds – will be rewarded by their Lord. They will have nothing to fear or to regret.” (The Holy Quran, 2:62)
Of course there are theological differences between Christians and Muslims, but worshiping God differently does not mean we worship a different God.
Throughout history, rigid – and inaccurate – theological positions on the nature of God and on the beliefs of other faiths resulted in conflict and lost opportunities for mutual understanding.
Anyone reading this tripe needs to understand the practice of abrogation –– meaning whatever is the latest to be revealed over rules or cancels prior revelation.
According to Understanding the Threat, the Koran is not organized into chronological order, but “generally by size of the chapter from largest to smallest with the exception of Sura (chapter) 1, which is only several lines long.” The Koran is 114 chapters called Suras organized from the largest to smallest, not as chronologically revealed to Mohammed (may pigs blood be flung upon him and a ham stuck in his mouth).
Three times in the Koran (2:106, 16:101, 17:106) Allah says that whatever he reveals chronologically later abrogates (overrules or cancels) what he previously revealed. Allah commands Mohammad to bring the community of people from their unbelief to full compliance with sharia progressively in stages. This is exactly what we are seeing on the ground today across the world. The Muslim community is slowly moving from living however they want to live to living in communities that are adhering to the sharia to a greater and greater degree.
According to Islam, Mohammad first received revelations in Mecca for a period of thirteen (13) years. He was completely rejected as a “prophet” by the religious scholars (Jewish, Christian) of the time. During those years only approximately 200 people converted to Islam – in 13 years. This is the time of “tolerance” where Mohammad had to tolerate the non-Muslims and there were no revelations of jihad.
Then Mohammad made the hijra to Medina, and was called to become a political and military leader. There he raised an army and gained many converts to Islam as he began to get revelations of jihad. First Mohammad received revelations of defensive jihad, then limited offensive jihad, and finally, the command to wage jihad as a permanent obligation until the entire world is under sharia.
Allah said it last (chronologically) in the Koran, then Mohammad said it, and then Mohammad did it. This is why there is no gray area in sharia as to the permanent command for all Muslims to wage jihad until the entire world is under sharia when they have the strength and ability to do so.
The Law of Jihad provides for how jihad can be waged by Muslims depending on where they are and their abilities.
The one best statement that sums it all up comes from the essay at Understanding the Threat. Since the focus of the Muslim Brotherhood is to bring greater “sharia adherence to the world by jihad,” it is the stated objective of all jihadi organizations no matter where in the world they are.
Therefore, it is logical, when seen from the perspective of Islam, that if the Koran abrogated all that came before it Allah would say “Whoever accepts a religion other than Islam will never have it accepted of him and he will be of those who truly fail in the hereafter (go to hell).” (Koran 3:85)
With this understanding, there is not one Christian or Jew who would dare claim that Allah and God are the same.
Does the Christian and Jewish God advocate or condone murder? No. It’s one of the Ten Commandments that “Thou shalt not commit murder.” Does God advocate thieving or condone it? No. Another of the Ten Commandments declares, “Thou shalt not steal.” Does God advocate taking another man’s wife to be a sex slave as a spoil of war? No. “Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife” is one of the commandments given to Moses by God. It was God who in his first commandment to Moses commanded, “I am the Lord thy God. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” And, the Lord commanded, “Thou shalt not bear false witness.”
God is often referred to as Yahweh or Jehovah, whereas the Islam deity is Allah. If God and Allah were the same, Muslims would know the name of God as Yahweh or Jehovah. They do not. Islam declares Jesus, the Son of God and the Messiah, to be a prophet only. It is denied in Islam that God is a trinity: God, the Father; God, the Son; and, God the Holy Ghost.
Islam promotes murder, stealing, lying, pedophilia, idolatry and coveting. Islam promotes sin and abominable behavior — all that God commanded His children against. God is never changing, steady, the beginning and the end.
If God and Allah were the same, why would God issue one set of commandments for Christians and Jews and a different set for Islam? If God and Allah were the same, why would Allah deny Jesus as the Son of God, referring to Him as a prophet only? God would not deny His Son as He brought the world salvation through Jesus. Jesus declared that whoever believed in Him would not perish but have everlasting life. He also said that no one goes to the Father but through Him. And, there is no remote connection between God and the deity, Allah, that would even suggest being the same.
Take this statement made by Awad. Throughout history, rigid – and inaccurate – theological positions on the nature of God and on the beliefs of other faiths resulted in conflict and lost opportunities for mutual understanding. Surely, he is not trying to tell Christians and Jews we have the Bible wrong? In reality he is, but he knows that the faithful will not buy his bull manure. Christians and Jews know better. The unsavory truth is Awad is being deceptive and trying to convince those who do not truly believe in God, doubtful Christians, and marginal believers that Allah is the same as God. It is a maneuver to a one world religion to Chrislam, as the Pope mentioned the merging of Christianity with Islam, that is dominated by Islamic teachings and shariah. In other words, a stealth conversion of people to Islam but called something else.
