The heat is on in Arizona as Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu ranted about a "broken" immigration system that allowed the release of three violent criminal illegal alien invaders into the state. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) used a new notification system, which is how Babeu learned of the release. According to Babeu, "You don't have to be sheriff to realize that this is going to end very badly for people."
According to Fox News, the three criminals shake down as follows:
-Musa Salah Abdelaziz Abdalla, 34, of Sudan, who has had multiple arrests for assault in Texas and Arizona. Abdalla violated probation three times and was sentenced to 13 months in prison in June 2014. Last month, he was released from prison and turned over to ICE officials, who then released him into the public on the same day claiming they could not locate travel documents proving his citizenship in Sudan.
-Dennis Valerievitch Tsoukanov, 33, of Russia, who along with two accomplices, kidnapped, beat and stabbed a police informant before pouring gasoline on him and setting him on fire in 2001. After testifying against his accomplices, he was given a 13-year sentence. Tsoukanov was released on Dec. 21, 2014, and turned over to ICE. He was released last month after ICE once again could not locate his travel documents.
-Nasser Hanna Hermez, 46, of Iraq, was charged with second degree murder of his 7-week old daughter in 2009. He pleaded guilty to negligent homicide and received a six month prison sentence and three years' probation. He was arrested in April for burglary, and sentenced to another two years' probation. ICE released Hermez, citing his status as a legal permanent resident.
Babeu stated at a news conference, with victims' family and loved ones at his side, "You don't release murderers into the State of Arizona and somehow think that they are just going to go about their business and find a job."
"The system is broken," declared Babeu.
"Our laws don't apply, it appears, to these individuals when it comes to immigration and our process," he said in the Fox News report. What the sheriffs have said unanimously in the State of Arizona, what I am calling for the president, the United States Congress, to do, is fix this immediately."
Babeu, who is vice president of the Arizona Sheriffs Association, referenced a statement from the group. Many agree with Babeu.
"The sheriffs of Arizona have been forced to deal with many challenges due to lax enforcement of Criminal Rules for US immigration policies. We appreciate ICE finally starting this notification, yet it places all law enforcement in untenable position by not being transparent and notifying the public we are sworn to protect. These bureaucratic excuses that these dangerous criminals may not be returned to their country of origin since they lack travel documents are not acceptable. We demand that these criminals be deported from the US and back to their home country. By simply notifying sheriffs of the release of dangerous criminals doesn't address the core problem that these dangerous criminals remain in America."
ICE provided a statement to Fox News claiming their hands were tied.
"US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) under current law can no longer legally hold the three individuals. To further promote public safety and transparency, ICE notified local law enforcement agencies of the release of the individuals."
"To be clear, the background of the individuals in question would generally make them enforcement priorities for ICE. However, ICE has no legal basis for continuing to hold these individuals. One individual (Hermez) is a lawful permanent resident whose current conviction record does not make him legally removable."
While Babeu declares the immigration system "broken," many US citizens recognize it is the lack of enforcement of current immigration laws by the Obama administration, along with blatant violation of our immigration laws by Obama in "airlifting" illegal aliens into the nation, which has resulted in the metastatic cancer of illegal alien invasion. Granted, some immigration laws need changing to address the problem of "anchor babies." However, regardless of "lawful permanent resident" status, conviction for certain crimes should negate the individual's "lawful permanent resident" status and deportation back to their country of origin commence immediately.
For ICE to claim there is no legal basis to hold these individuals, immigration law declares anyone crossing into this nation outside legal and lawful means are criminals... period. ICE agents "follow the orders" handed down by director Sarah Saldana, who receives hers from Obama. In testimony presented to the House Budget Committee subcommittee, Saldana admitted to Rep David Young (R-IA) she would follow policy contrary to law and instruct her subordinates to do the same. Obama mandated a "non-enforcement" policy regarding US immigration law, which the agency department heads and directors follow as though Obama were king, dictator or Adolf Hitler. Congress allows Obama to violate the Constitution with impunity. Of course, Congress violates their oath of office and the Constitution as well, so the pot calling the kettle black is futile.
Babeu's appeal to Congress and Obama will fall on deaf ears.
Not only do we have Obama, his administration and Congress violating the Constitution, this "government" bows to UN designation on "refugee" status and imports unvetted Muslims, criminals and who knows what else into this nation, while thousands continue to cross the porous southern border aided by Border Patrol and ICE. Our national sovereignty is at stake along with our very safety. No longer does our Constitution bind our elected officials or the centralized federal government. Their oath, as well as the Constitution, means nothing to any of them. It's blatant in their actions. These tyrants ignore our founding documents.
This nation is no longer a cooperative of sovereign states with a subservient central government bound by the Constitution. The States and the people are now subservient to a central government intent on the destruction of this nation and its people through violations of the very document binding them from the commission of tyranny, oppression and despotism. According to the Constitution of the united States of America, "we the people" form the government, who charged our central body with the duty to "suppress insurrections and repel invasions." However, the central governing body commits insurrections and promotes invasion against the government -- we the people.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness, that to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --- that whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to affect their safety and happiness. This paragraph contained in the Declaration of Independence is as true today as it was the day the founders wrote it. Times have changed, but the principle has not. What has changed is the character of people. While there are many courageous men and women in this nation, too many morphed into lily-livered, yellow belly cowards afraid to take a stand and push back against the "effeminizing" of our nation, the creep of Sharia, the push toward communism/socialism/progressivism/Marxist philosophies, the invasion of our nation and challenge the corruption in Washington DC by laying down their sports, reality TV, and comforts.
The tide turned toward oppression. Our once great nation is close to being lost, if it isn't already. It's a pitiful state of affairs when the people of Egypt under a corrupt, oppressive Muslim Brotherhood government could lay down their jobs and comforts and swarm their capitol to enact change, while a "free" people continue to accept encroaching tyranny, bow to invasion and wring their hands with uncertainty. Fear is a powerful motivator.
