House Speaker Nancy Pelosi verbally smacked freshman like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez by downplaying the amount of power they really had amid a flurry of attention the media gave them. “All these people have their public whatever and their Twitter world.”
Nancy Pelosi, you should have nipped this in the bud a long time ago. You allowed these idiots to become the face of the Democratic Party.
AOC’s late-night temper tantrum:
That public “whatever” is called public sentiment.
And wielding the power to shift it is how we actually achieve meaningful change in this country. https://t.co/u6JtgwwRsk

I find it strange when members act as though social media isn’t important.
They set millions of ???? on ???? to run TV ads so people can see their message.
I haven’t dialed for dollars *once* this year, & have more time to do my actual job. Yet we’d rather campaign like it’s 2008.

As Twitchy readers know, Nancy Pelosi has understandably grown tired of the immature and embarrassing antics of Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Ayanna Presley, and of course, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Would appear the House Speaker is especially unimpressed with their behavior in social media.
We agree with her.
And since Pelosi DARED criticize the flailing foursome, AOC was front and center with a little clapback of her own, and it’s just painful. More
Twitter responded:
“Whatever” is the public sentiment when you go and start faking southern accent and clapping while talking just to get black votes.
“Whatever” is what Biden feel about your “ideologies” also…

Weird how the leaders of your own party don’t respect you very much.

God help us if you’re ever put in real power.
