American Sharia: Philadelphia Muslim Imam & Amir Attempt to Cut off Man’s Hand

A thirty-seven year old Muslim man nearly had his hand severed by devout Islamists in Philadelphia.

According to Reuters:

Two men described as leaders of a Philadelphia mosque were accused of trying to cut off the hand of a suspected thief, whose wrist was sliced so deeply it required hospital treatment, police said on Friday.

The officials, described in police reports as the mosque’s imam and amir, dragged the victim to the rear of the mosque, and attempted to chop off his hand with a machete, according to a police statement.

OK, stop right there. For all those people who want to label people like me and others, who call for the law of God to be enforced, “Christian Taliban,” here is a major difference. First, nothing here was proven. There were merely accusations with no court and no judge. This is Sharia in Islam. They go from accusation to punishment and execution without evidence or witnesses.

Sadly, the victim buys into the Islamic ideology, but apparently not when it’s his hand on the chopping block.

After getting a search warrant, police were able to also locate the weapon used, a 2 foot long machete. They arrested Merv Mitchell, also known as Mabul Shoatz and are obtaining an arrest warrant for the mosque’s imam.

According to, the name of the mosque is Masjid Ar-Razaqq Ul-Karim mosque on 63rd Street.

Apparently, after accusing him of stealing, Mitchell was not only dragged to the rear of the mosque, but down a flight of stairs, even though he denied the theft. He was then taken to a converted house, which Mitchell actually lives in, according to Lt. John Walker of Southwest Detectives. It was here that the two men placed the victim’s hand on a log, and according to Walker, Mitchell “swung at his wrist, cut through his skin, and cut his tendons, but didn’t make it all the way.” The reason for the failure to completely cut off the hand was a dull blade.

Mitchell has been charged with aggravated assault, criminal conspiracy, and related offenses.

The victim will have to have reconstructive surgery, but was treated at Mercy Philadelphia Hospital.

Now, I ask you, what do you think will become of this story? It is taking place up north, where Muslims have infested. Will we hear more about sharia coming out of this? Will we hear about how this isn’t how they do things in their country? Will this be an issue of their “religious conviction?” If the states don’t take up the power they have to outlaw Islam, and yes, they do have it, then they are merely facilitating this monstrous ideology.

Of course, we can expect the Obama administration to oppose such measures. As Pamela Geller says, “Obama say, ‘Respect it!'”
