All Eyes On Obama DHS After Domestic Bombing At Govt Building

While you are being groped and stripped at your local airport this holiday season by the Transportation Security Agency, who operate under the authority of the Department of Homeland Security, know that the same DHS knowingly and willfully allowed a 47-year-old man who had engaged in “terrorism-related activity” live in Arizona. But that’s not all. He detonated a bomb outside a government building on November 30.

Empty Vessel at the Dailykos wrote on November 30, “Today, At about 8:30 AM, it appears a small explosive was detonated at the rear door of a Social Security office in Casa Grande, AZ. Thankfully, nobody was injured. It is still early, and we cannot say that it is a political act, or even be sure that this is an act of domestic terrorism, but it does seem likely.”

“Assuming this is a bombing, and that the bombing was conducted by a right wing zealot opposed to big government (neither of which we know for sure), I think we are seeing the start of something that I have seen coming for awhile,” Empty Vessel wrote.

However they could not have been further from the truth. This person suspected the bomber to have been some “right wing zealot.” In fact this person continued in there brief article stating, “For a long time now, I have believed that the re-election of President Obama would lead to a rash of right wing violence in the US. That is, with the right wing feeling that ‘traditional America’ is lost, many will turn to violence.”

Well it turns out that just as the media did with the Aurora shooting in attempting to put it on “right wingers” and people affiliated with the Tea Party, that happened in this case as well. They were completely wrong! The bomber was a radicalized Muslim by the name of Abdullatif Ali Aldosary. His target was the Arizona Social Security Administration in Casa Grande.

Tucson News reports,

Aldosary on Tuesday was ordered held in jail pending a preliminary hearing. Investigators said instructions on how to construct an explosive device, bomb-making materials and chemicals were found in his Coolidge home after a small explosion outside the building in downtown Casa Grande on Friday morning.

Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) and his office was approached by Aldosary for a “green card” back in November of 2011, which he forwarded to immigration officials. According to Gosar, DHS informed him that Aldosary was not eligible for a permanent change to citizenship “pursuant to the terrorism-related grounds of inadmissibility, and that “individuals who engage in terrorism-related activity … are barred from receiving various immigration benefits.”

While DHS was not specific to the activity that Aldosary had engaged in, Rep. Gosar wrote that under federal law he must have engaged in activity “indicating an intention to cause death or serious bodily injury, a terrorist activity; to prepare or plan a terrorist activity; to gather information on potential targets for terrorist activity” or belong to “a terrorist organization” among other actions in order to bar him from permanent status.

The Arizona Congressman issued a press release this week in which he wrote:

“The alleged bomber, Abdullatif Aldosary, is reportedly an Iraqi refugee who was given the privilege to live in our country, but has apparently repaid our generosity and kindness with repeated violence and aggression. The FBI reports the use of a high explosive called ‘RDX’ that is often used in terrorist plots. It is my expectation that this case will be fully investigated and the full weight of law enforcement brought to bear. The recent bombing in Casa Grande reminds us that we have to all have a responsibility to be vigilant and to alert authorities of any threats in our communities.”

Gosar also asked DHS what efforts on their part were made to track and monitor “a known terrorist.” So far no response from DHS.

However, one government official, who asked not to be identified, did state that just because one’s application was denied due to “terrorism-related activity” doesn’t necessarily mean the person is a terrorist. He said, “Terrorism-related inadmissibility grounds (TRIG) in immigration law are broad in scope and they don’t always differentiate between armed groups and the purpose of their activities. So they include activities that we wouldn’t commonly consider to be ‘terrorism,’ such as activities that were performed under duress. They also don’t have an exception for ‘freedom fighters,’ such as a resistance group that is fighting a dictatorial regime.”

Well now, this brings me to ask the question, will the Obama administration and the Department of Homeland Security refer to this as “domestic terrorism” and call the accused what he is, a radical Muslim? or will they instead look at this and declare it as something else, maybe workplace violence as in the case of the Ft. Hood shooter.

Alodsary is now in custody charged with damaging federal property with explosives and also being a felon in possession of a firearm. His preliminary hearing will be in Phoenix on Tuesday.
