In the aftermath of President Trump’s election, the entire left side of American politics lost their mind. Suddenly, instead of civil arguments about the betterment of the American society, we were enduring folks like Kathy Griffin parading around with photorealistic mockups of a beheaded Donald Trump.
Hysteria had fully ensued, and it runs rampant still today. Call it “Trump Derangement Syndrome” if you wish, but the core catalyst for all of this is the radicalization of the liberal left, and the fomenting of a “resistance” that takes no political realities into account. There is no debating policy with these folks; if Trump is for it, they are against it. Bottom line. No if’s, and’s, or but’s.
This, folks, is no way to govern.
Leading the charge in recent days have been a number of freshmen Congresswomen known as “The Squad”. The group counts among its members the ever-precocious Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who this week has suggested that violence sometimes is the answer.
During an interview with New York’s Hot 97 earlier this week, Ocasio-Cortez argued “marginalized” communities have no choice but to riot against their so-called oppressors.
“I believe injustice is a threat to the safety of all people. Because once you have a group that is marginalized and marginalize and marginalized…once someone doesn’t have access to clean water, they have no choice but to riot. And it doesn’t have to be that way. I’m not even taking about Palestinians. I’m talking about communities in poverty in the United States; I’m talking about Latin America; I’m talking about all over the world,” she said.
This widely inappropriate suggestion was not meant to convey AOC’s thoughts merely on the locales she herself listed. This is an unequivocal dog whistle to the liberal leftists in groups such as Antifa, who have rained chaos down on the streets of American cities such as Portland, Oregon.Don't forget to Like Freedom Outpost on Facebook and Twitter, and follow our friends at RepublicanLegion.com.
