Presidential Candidate for 2016, Robby Wells, has called out New York Governor Andrew Cuomo over his gun legislation and challenges him to a debate at Madison Square Garden!
Wells, who has resides in Charlotte, North Carolina, recently announced his campaign for President of the United States for 2016. Having been a public servant for over twenty years, servicing as a teacher, football coach, and member of the Army National Guard, Wells is ready to take on big politics with Constitutional solutions. Thus he sought out Governor Cuomo to demonstrate early on that he means business.
In the video, Wells not only informs Cuomo of his campaign for 2016, but declares that as he has been going around the State of New York campaigning and visiting the people there and he says that “they have major concerns with the legislation you (Cuomo) have just signed, which takes away from law abiding citizens Second Amendment rights to bear arms and make sure it’s not infringed upon.”
“You see,” he continued,”Governor Cuomo, the legislation you’ve just signed into law is unconstitutional and the Constitution of the United States is the supreme law of the land. The Second Amendment specifically states that every American has the right to bear arms and that it shall not be infringed upon. Therefore, you are unconstitutional Sir.”
Wells called Cuomo’s legislation a “knee jerk” reaction following the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting and specifically said, “it’s not going to do anything to curb the violence.”
“You see psychopathic killers are going to keep their weapons… they’re going to keep their magazines,” Wells said.
The 2016 Presidential candidate said that he has a plan that will “make sure our schools are completely safe.” According to Wells idea, it’s called the “Vets For Kids.” He says that his program will solve three major problems in the country today.
One of those problems is that children need to be protected and Wells indicated that if the children of the President of the United States can have armed guards to protect them, then Wells believes his children and yours deserve the same protection.
Another problem Wells indicates would be solved is that hundreds of thousands of veterans would be put back to work without any taxpayer money being involved. The veterans would be used to protect children in the public schools and they would do it because “they have already taken an oath to protect the people of the United States of America,” Wells said. He points out that their oath “was not just good when they were serving actively in the military. The oath that they took was a lifetime oath.”
“So who better to protect out children in our schools than veterans?” Wells asks.
The Presidential candidate said that serious people with serious ideas are needed to deal with the problems we face today in the United States.
Wells then said that Cuomo’s “solution” was a “joke” and a “phony.” Rightly pointing out that criminals are going to keep their weapons and declaring that they will go to “Gun Free Zones.”
He then cited Chicago and Cuomo’s own state with its soaring murder rates and yet both places have some of the strictest gun control laws in the nation.
Wells then declared that he was neither right wing, nor left wing, but rather “the bird in the middle that will pull both wings to him, plus the 90 million Americans that chose not to vote on November 6, 2012 because they did not have a candidate that represented them.”
Wells then declared to Governor Cuomo, “You’re kidding yourself if you think that you represent those people.”
According to Wells, the people he is speaking about compose 99.6% of the population, which make less than a million dollars.
Well then issued a challenge to Cuomo:
“I’d like to challenge you to a debate while I’m here in the State of New York. I’ll come to New York City, Madison Square Garden, Center Court.”
Wells then added that unlike Cuomo who is “thinking” about running for President of the United States, he is actually doing it.Don't forget to Like Freedom Outpost on Facebook and Twitter, and follow our friends at RepublicanLegion.com.
