2014 Elections – It’s Time To Shake the Monkey Tree & See Who Falls Out

True to his word junior Senator Ted Cruz took to the Senate floor to attempt to stop Obamacare. Everybody knows that Senate Democrats like Harry Reid don’t want him to succeed. The comment from Sen. Barbara Mikulski (D-MD), “You can huff and you can puff for 21 hours, but you cannot blow the Affordable Care Act away,” is something one would expect from children on a school yard and not from a United States Senator.

Everybody knows what impact the Tea Party had in 2010. We were mostly Republicans, who were sick and tired of their elected officials who simply went along with the status quo. So-called Republicans like John McCain, who are a Republicans in name only, or RINO’s, are scared to death of the Tea Party and its impact on the establishment. It seems that the old boy’s like McCain don’t like it when the “little people” (folks like you and me) rock their cushy little boats Sure they say that they are listening to us, but not really.

Back in 2008 when John McCain was put up as the Republican nominee for President, I knew, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that he would lose. The old boy reached his stride years ago and has merely been “occupying” his Senate seat for quite a long time.  Republicans like McCain are exactly why the Tea Party was formed. We were tired of our elected officials who didn’t listen to us. Enter people like Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz and Alan West. They “got it,” and while Alan West is no longer in Congress, he continues on with the fight. If you want to know who these RINO’s are, you can click here to view a list, or visit this website.

As a Tea Party activist and staunch conservative, I suggest you visit both of these sites so that you may know if one of your elected officials is indeed a RINO.

I am sick to death of people getting elected to public office and not doing what we pay them to do. And make no mistake ladies and gentlemen, we are their employers! And what do you do when an employee isn’t doing his or her job? You send them packing with a pink slip! We need to start electing people who will W-O-R-K for us!

God knows, that’s what the progressive/liberal/democrats are doing. Misguided or not, they are doing what their constituents want them to do. It’s way past time, for us to do the same exact thing! I have written to my Congress woman Jamie Herrera Buetler (R-WA), on countless occasions, and every single time I get a standard “form letter” of her telling me “how hard she is working for me,” but that is where it ends.

My father had a saying and he used it to make a point when talking to his employees who were lax in their jobs. When people were not doing their jobs, he would gather them all together and say “It’s time to shake the monkey tree and see who falls out.” What he meant was, it was time to get rid of and cut loose the dead weight!

Folks, the 2014 elections will be here before we know it and make no mistake, the other side is ready, and we need to be too! We cannot afford to lose the house OR the senate this time around, we absolutely must take both, because if we don’t….Well, do I really need to say what?

So it’s time to “shake the monkey tree and see who falls out!”
