Now is no time for theatrics, yet here we are, witnessing the vast multitudes of Hollywood’s liberal elite use the coronavirus pandemic to score political points against President Donald Trump.
These are largely a demographic of wealthy socialites who will be spending their quarantines in the opulence of their Beverly Hills mansions, attended to by their own essential staff. These are not the folks who are waiting to see if their stimulus checks arrive in time to avoid a late payment penalty on the rent. Or the young people who were scraping by in via the now-extinct career of bartending.
No, these celebrities in their ivory towers are enjoying their quarantine while average Americans fret. And, worse yet, the famous are lobbing insults at the man who is trying to hold us all together: Donald J. Trump.
Actor John Cusack is calling for the impeachment of President Donald Trump in the midst of the worldwide coronavirus outbreak, saying that the president must be removed from power in order “to save lives.”

The Say Anything actor tweeted Tuesday that he wants to see labor strikes as well as the impeachment of President Trump. “We need to remove Trump from power to save lives,” the Hollywood star wrote. “Impeach him again.”
Cusack’s asinine accusation and salacious suggestion come just days after fellow Hollywood never-Trumper Rob Reiner insinuated that the President may somehow be responsible for a portion of the deaths that COVID-19 causes.
