Will Oklahoma gubernatorial candidate Dan Fisher be the first governor to abolish abortion?

It very well could be the case for the Baptist pastor turned gubernatorial candidate, but he's not a politically correct kind of guy.

In a brand new video, put out by the Fisher campaign, Dan is clearly an abolitionist against abortion and not your ordinary "pro-lifer."

Fisher defines abortion in the video as "the intentional destruction of a preborn human being, in other words, the murder of a baby in their mother's womb."

While many pro-lifers agree with this, they are all too happy to "progressively" move in legislation without simply declaring the murders to be illegal no matter what the stage the infant is in development.

In Oklahoma, Fisher says that 20 children are murdered at the hands of abortion mills in the state every business day, which equals about 5,500 children every year.

In Oklahoma, some 250,000 pre-born Oklahomans have been deprived of their right to life since Roe v Wade, which was not a law, but merely the opinion of a few black-robed judges, heavily dominated, I might add, by Republican appointees.

The numbers of children that have been murdered in Oklahoma don't even count those who have been murdered by abortifacients and other devices.

As Fisher points out, Oklahoma is considered a "pro-life state."

However, consider that Oklahoma Senator Joseph Silk (R-Broken Bow) put forward a truly pro-life bill that abolished abortion and declared it as first-degree murder.

While the Senate basically killed Silk's bill, another bill that had the same ends of ending abortion, passed the House and Senate, and it was "pro-life" Republican Governor Mary Fallin that vetoed the bill.  She's also the woman who talked a big game when it came to removing the Ten Commandments monument, but cowardly backed down from a few judges in the Oklahoma Supreme Court.

Fisher asks what it means that most Pro-life organizations consider Oklahoma to be the most pro-life state in the union with nearly 6,000 murders, and rightfully so.

Fisher says what it doesn't mean to be a "pro-life" legislator or governor in Oklahoma, and that is seeking the abolition of abortion.

He then points out that while many "pro-life" bills are put forward and even signed into law, none of them are aimed at ending abortion.  He then provided several examples of "pro-life" legislation.

Seriously, you have to watch the video and see Dan's passion as he declares that in Oklahoma with pro-lifers occupying the house, senate and governorship, they have yet to end abortion.

Fisher is not running to regulate abortion, but to abolish it.

This will have an incredible impact on many pro-life organizations financially because they will have to change who they are and what they are doing if abortion is abolished, which for some, I don't doubt they will be all too happy to see happen.  For others, the pro-life movement has been a cash cow for them.

Fisher also says that he will "disregard any unjust rulings or perversions of the US Constitution that claim there is a right to murder pre-born human beings in the womb."

Mr. Fisher anticipates those who cower before the Supreme Court of the united States and his answer is simple:

"This is Oklahoma, ignore them!"

"When the courts are wrong, they should be ignored," he said.  "We ignored them in the mid-1800s when they said a black person was just personal property, and we should have!"

"They were wrong!" he declared.  "The courts are often wrong now.  They are not God."

While many states are ignoring Washington's laws, Fisher proclaims that children are being murdered in the state and demands that the people rise up with one voice and say no more to abortion.

"We must put down the shears and pick up the axe and lay it to the root," says Fisher.  "We must stop regulating murder in our state.  It is time to abolish human abortion in Oklahoma."

Well said.  I anticipate that Dan Fisher's campaign will begin to change the minds of many pro-lifers across America and should he win the governorship in 2018, there is no doubt that many more like him will gain some boldness to run for various offices where they can have a voice for the unborn.
