I'm not saying the NFL thing is much ado about nothing. It isn't. What these players did is inexcusable, but domestic violence amongst NFL players is not an epidemic – not by a long shot.

Yet, you'd never know it by the media uproar – the wall to wall coverage – the public outcry and the PSA's.

Last week, Nancy Armour wrote in USAToday (McPaper), regarding the NFL's Breast Cancer awareness campaign: "Promoting breast cancer awareness is a noble and worthy cause, no question. By painting itself pink for the next four weeks, however, the NFL gets to pretend it cares oh so greatly about women while ignoring yet another opportunity to educate and inform about domestic violence."

I guess Nancy is the nation's authority – judge and jury, regarding the motivation of the NFL. Of course we all know that the NFL as a whole, and certainly those brute players, don't really care about the health and wellbeing of women-folk.

If Nancy had checked her paper's own database, maybe she wouldn't appear so utterly stupid.

It took FiveThirtyEight's Benjamin Morris to run the actual numbers taken from USAToday's NFL arrests database. He found that the rate of domestic violence incidents amongst NFL players was only about half (55.4%) that of the general population, and the overall crime rate was only 13% of the national average.

Still, we know, as the NOW gang has always preached, deep down, men are all predators, despite what the stats say.

But what of the "real" predators – women. Yes, women.

What the stats surely don't reveal is the War On Men – young men. Nowhere will we see PSA's regarding female "predators."

Well, I see them on a regular basis. Literally, not a day goes by that I don't read some 20 or 30 something female school teacher has lured a teenage (or younger) male student into having sex. From what I've seen, this is the real epidemic.

Just today, there was a report from a Catholic High School in Minnesota where a 28 year female teacher got pregnant by her 17 year student lover.

Last week, it was reported that two female teachers in Louisiana lured a 16 year old male student into a "threesome."

Frankly, I could go on for page after page of incidences of abuse by teachers – all female and most in their 20's or 30's. In fact, World Net Daily (WND) did just that back in August, entitled "The big list: Female teachers with students."

It's 13 full pages of predatory female teachers luring male children as young as 11 into sex. YES – 11!

Where's the damn ribbon for these kids? Where are the PSA's? Where are the celebrity spokespeople speaking out against these abusers?!

Now, I know what some will say. Yeah, that's the ultimate fantasy for a teenage boy – to have sex with an attractive young teacher. Where's the harm in that? It would probably be celebrated in the high school boys' locker room.

Maybe so, but it doesn't make it any more acceptable or right. And what of the 14-, 13-, 12-, and 11-year-old kids? Think they won't be affected? Think it won't screw them up just a bit?

Imagine if WND published an eternally long list of male teachers luring 11-year-old girls for sex? Think there might be more of an outcry? Darn right, there would!

How about we stop worrying so much about the NFL and few isolated (but horrid) incidences and concentrate more on the evident degradation of the rest of our society.

Oh, that's right – I forgot. There's no money and notoriety in the support of our young men.

And how can a future predator ever possibly be the prey?
