Known liar, former ambassador to the United Nations and current National Security Advisor Susan Rice appeared with David Gregory (known DC lawbreaker) on NBC's Meet the Press and was asked if she had any regrets in regards to going on NBC, as well as other Sunday shows, and telling the American people that the Benghazi jihadist attacks were a result of an anti-Islam videos.
"David, no, because what I said to you that morning and what I did every day since was to share the best information that we had at the time," Rice said. "The information that I provided, which I explained to you was what we had at the moment. It could change. This is based on what we knew on that morning was provided to me and my colleagues and indeed to Congress by the intelligence community, and that's been well validated in many ways since."
"And that information turned out, in some respects, not to be a hundred percent correct, but the notion that somehow I or anybody else in the administration misled the American people is patently false, and I think that's been amply demonstrated," Rice added.
The first thing that struck me in this part of the interview is how much Susan Rice's mannerisms are characteristic of Barack Obama. Watch how she responds to the question and the way she speaks about things, even the batting of her eyelids.
Second, of course, she has no regrets for lying to the American people. She was not "misleading" anyone; she was lying. There is no reason for her to regret her lies. After all, though she didn't get the Secretary of State chair, she's still got a job, being paid by the American taxpayer and hasn't faced any kind of accountability for her blatant lies.
Third, from the evidence that has been obtained, the intelligence community and the White House clearly knew that Benghazi was not about some video. It was about an orchestrated attack. Ms. Rice simply continues to lie to cover her backside and the man that would just as soon toss her under the bus as anyone else.
The clip was played for the treasonous senator from Arizona John McCain on CBS's Face the Nation and his response was simply "I'm almost speechless." That should tell you something right there!
Lest you think, that me calling Rice a known liar is a problem. Judge for yourself. First, there are the five Sunday shows she appeared on. She went on each of these shows and lied to the American people, even though Gregory Hicks, a Benghazi eyewitness, testified that the video was a "nonevent."
Furthermore, the Central Intelligence Agency knew from the start that Benghazi was a jihadist attack and had nothing to do with a video, and that more than likely Obama speech writer Ben Rhodes had something to do with changing the talking points that were provided to the administration. So Rice continues to lie to this day about the intelligence community and who is at fault for the lies about Benghazi.
Rhodes was not the only one involved in playing with talking points. Emails also confirm that the State Department pushed for editing of the talking point as well. In fact, the reason they were doing this was because it was near the 2012 elections and Obama's slogan was about how Al-Qaeda was on the run. However, contrary to Susan Rice's continued lying, State Department emails confirm that the White House knew within two hours that Benghazi was not a protest gone bad, but a full blown jihadist attack.
In addition, this administration has intimidated witnesses. They have sought to shut them up, and now there is a question of who was involved in the deaths of 15 Libyans who were going to cooperate with the FBI concerning Benghazi.
Even three Republican senators, who I have absolutely no respect for, including one from my own state, confirmed that Susan Rice presented false information when she went on the Sunday shows and lied to the American people about the reason for the Benghazi attacks.
We have known pathological liars in places of authority in this country. Does that sound safe to you? Consider the many twists and turns, and the documentation of involvement by various people surrounding the Benghazi scandal. I don't know about you, but you cannot trust a word that comes from this administration, and you certainly can't trust their actions.Don't forget to Like Freedom Outpost on Facebook, Google Plus, & Twitter.
