New broke this weekend that a report had been released. Following the claims of Secretary of State John "Lurch" Kerry that the US has a "closer relationship with Israel right now in terms of security than at any time in history," a report surfaced claiming that Obama threatened to shoot down Israeli jets that were intent on bombing Iran's nuclear facilities in 2014.
According to the Israel National News:
The Bethlehem-based news agency Ma'an has cited a Kuwaiti newspaper report Saturday that US President Barack Obama thwarted an Israeli military attack against Iran's nuclear facilities in 2014 by threatening to shoot down Israeli jets before they could reach their targets in Iran.
Following Obama's threat, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was reportedly forced to abort the planned Iran attack.
According to Al-Jarida, the Netanyahu government took the decision to strike Iran some time in 2014 soon after Israel had discovered the United States and Iran had been involved in secret talks over Iran's nuclear program and were about to sign an agreement in that regard behind Israel's back.
The report claimed that an unnamed Israeli minister who has good ties with the US administration revealed the attack plan to Secretary of State John Kerry, and that Obama then threatened to shoot down the Israeli jets before they could reach their targets in Iran.
Al-Jarida quoted "well-placed" sources as saying that Netanyahu, along with Minister of Defense Moshe Yaalon, and then-Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman, had decided to carry out airstrikes against Iran's nuclear program after consultations with top security commanders.
According to the report, "Netanyahu and his commanders agreed after four nights of deliberations to task the Israeli army's chief of staff, Benny Gantz, to prepare a qualitative operation against Iran's nuclear program. In addition, Netanyahu and his ministers decided to do whatever they could do to thwart a possible agreement between Iran and the White House because such an agreement is, allegedly, a threat to Israel's security."
The sources added that Gantz and his commanders prepared the requested plan and that Israeli fighter jets trained for several weeks in order to make sure the plans would work successfully. Israeli fighter jets reportedly even carried out experimental flights in Iran's airspace after they managed to break through radars.
Would that be hard to believe? Some have questioned the reports, such as Hot Air's Jazz Shaw. However, Pamela Geller takes a different position writing, "When I wrote my book, War on The Post American Presidency, The Obama Administration's America, I warned that Obama's antisemitism would have grave consequences…. He doesn't even pretend anymore. And the terrible reality is that there are so many on the left who love this — The Democrats have become the anti-Israel party with the anti-semite-in-chief."
I believe the nation of Israel has a right to defend itself, but the key word here is "defend." Iran is an Islamic nation under Sharia and must have an eye kept on it, especially by Israel, since she is the one who is vulnerable to attack. I fully support her right to defend herself.
However, if the claims are true that Barack Obama threatened to shoot down Israeli jets, then he is just providing more reasons for why he needs to be removed immediately from office.
For sure, the INN did report that former national security adviser to Jimmy Carter, Zbigniew Brzezinski, a Democrat, has been vocal about shooting down Israeli jets that were headed for Iran. He said, ""They have to fly over our airspace in Iraq. Are we just going to sit there and watch?"
"We have to be serious about denying them that right," he said.
"If they fly over, you go up and confront them. They have the choice of turning back or not. No one wishes for this but it could be a 'Liberty' in reverse,'" referring to Israel's mistaken attack on the American ship "Liberty" during the Six-Day War in 1967.
The obvious question is, what right does Mr. Brzezinski has to do such a thing or demand it. Seeing that he campaigned for Obama and served under the worst president until Obama, Jimmy Carter, one has to consider the man doesn't know what he is talking about.
In any case, the White House denied the reports. On Sunday the White House national Security Twitter feed had this to say:
Like a lot rumors lately about Iran talks, there is no truth to "reports" about Obama & Israeli jets.

A senior Obama administration official told the Washington Times "that report is totally false."
Frankly with the decades of worrying about a nuclear Iran, and with the way the Obama administration has treated Israel, I wonder why they would give the administration a second thought. Personally, I don't think they do and that is why Netanyahu will be addressing Congress and not Barack Obama and his radicals at the White House.Don't forget to Like Freedom Outpost on Facebook, Google Plus, & Twitter.
