Mark D. Taylor is the president of Tyndale House Publishers, a Christian company that has produced mainly Bibles (but also a wide range of other Christian literature) in its 50 year history. His company now faces the prospect of fines totaling more than $9 million a year if it refuses to implement the HHS rule that says all employers must provide free contraception as part of their Obamacare obligations. They don't have 9 million dollars lying around. Paying that kind of fine is not even a possibility for them. Thus, the dilemma is, obey the government and violate your conscience, or lose your business.

Tyndale House is a Protestant publisher, so their beef is not with contraception in general, as is the case with the Catholic Church. But the HHS rule would force groups like Tyndale to fund the distribution of "contraceptives" which work by means of ensuring the death of a fertilized egg. That is, they cause very early abortions. Tyndale House is not exempt under the current "conscience clause" that is granted to some religious organizations, because they are not organized as a charity.

Disobeying the HHS rule is not a measure Taylor and his company take lightly. He says,

"I’ve always thought—in a theoretical way—that I might someday face a situation where the government was asking or telling me to do something that was counter to God’s law as I understood it. If such a situation arose, I hoped I would have the backbone to stand tall and disobey the government mandate. Well, that day seems to have come."

Tyndale House has filed suit against the government, a step they have in common with "a growing list" of other companies who are concerned that this aspect of Obamacare represents a trampling upon their religious liberties, not to mention free association and property rights.
