There is a saying among some of the elder generation; "Better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt." If there were ever a poster fool for this saying, it would be Barack Obama. Supposedly a law school graduate, Obama should know the weight of words when it comes from the highest office in the country. However, his stupidity shows again and again. Remember, ignorance can be corrected but there is no cure for stupidity.
In his most recent remark, Obama is making the "trial and conviction of military personnel arrested and charged with sex crimes more difficult if not impossible." When uttered from the Commander in Chief, the remarks are "unlawful command influence." What was this stupidity uttered from the mouth of the identifiable fool?
Obama basically described what should happen to anyone accused of sexual crimes, "prosecuted, stripped of their positions, court-martialed, fired, and dishonorably discharged." According to the Examiner, this remark has already affected 12 cases and in all likelihood many more as both prosecutors and judges believe his remarks could result in acquittals on a technicality. A president should know better especially one who claims to be a lawyer.
This is not the first time Obama has exposed his propensity toward adopting the "court jester village idiot" stupid utterances or using the presidency as a "bully pulpit." One can look back at the Harvard case where the president stated the Harvard police acted "stupidly." That statement was a prime example of making a remark without thinking through the consequences. Of course, Obama later had to defend his statement.
As reported by the Examiner, Obama said in his defense statement, "I have to say I am surprised by the controversy surrounding my statement, because I think it was a pretty straightforward commentary that you probably don't handcuff a guy, a middle-aged man who uses a cane, who's in his own home." The beer summit was then held.
Let's recap those circumstances. The professor was trying to break in his own home using the backdoor, refused to provide identification to the police, and became what some would term "obstinate" with police officers. He wasn't "in his own home;" he was outside of it trying to break in the backdoor and refused to cooperate with the police. Obama has the inability to foresee any problems with any statement he issues due to his narcissistic, arrogant personality. One can see he does not make himself aware of the total facts.
In the Trayvon Martin incident, Obama included in a statement regarding the shooting of the teen, "If I had a son, he would look like Trayvon...." This one statement alone caused tremendous upheaval surrounding the entire prosecution of George Zimmerman, who has been found "not guilty." One misspeak might could be over looked as inexperience, over eagerness to assert authority, or ignorance in the power of the consequences of the words spoken by the president. This many utterances confirms a fool; a fool that just happens to hold the highest office in the United States.
Former high ranking judge for the Army, Thomas J. Romig stated, "His remarks were more specific than I've ever heard a commander in chief get. When the commander in chief says they will be dishonorably discharged, that's a pretty specific message. Every military defense counsel will make a motion about this."
According to the Examiner, the president's remarks have already freed several such predators. At South Carolina's Shaw Air Force Base, a judge tossed charges of sexual assault against an officer because of the president's statement. Two defendants in sexual assault cases in Hawaii were told they could not be discharged from service if found guilty. "At Fort Bragg, Army Brig. Gen. Jeffrey Sinclair's lawyer, made a motion to throw out the charges against the general, prefacing the president's remarks." Sinclair was charged with forcing a lower ranking officer to perform oral sex on him and now may walk away a free man.
The president's remarks severely mar the ability of the military court system to administer fair justice. By issuing a statement as commander in chief on what he thinks should happen, he has basically used his position to influence those who should be impartial in providing prosecution and judgment. The president issues a figurative "slap in the face" to all military victims of sexual assault/harassment and/or rape by providing an avenue whereby alleged perpetrators are given a "pass" on a technicality. Shame on you Obama!
Obama has done nothing productive for society or America. In fact, he has done everything he could to incite racial tension, promote racism, and promote societal separation along religion, gender, sexual orientation, and nationality. Obama can add to his long list of "achievements" the alienation of victims of sexual crimes in the military and the promotion of injustice for those victims. Those accused of a crime are innocent until proven guilty; however, his irresponsible statement has promoted a mockery of justice by allowing those military members accused of sexual crimes to possibly avoid prosecution.
America is far worse off now than before this charlatan imposter took office. The effects of his ineptitude, irresponsibility, stupidity, arrogance and "foolish" occupancy of the office of the President of the United States will be difficult to overcome; if it is even possible to do so.Don't forget to Like Freedom Outpost on Facebook, Google Plus, & Twitter.
