A few nights ago Mark Levin had on his program Michael Leveen. They discussed Michael's disclosure of a trip ambassador William G Miller took to Iran on behalf of Barack Obama during the 2008 presidential election. Yes, before Obama became president.

Powerline reprinted a portion of Leveen's post that he discussed with Mark: "During his first presidential campaign in 2008, Mr. Obama used a secret back channel to Tehran to assure the mullahs that he was a friend of the Islamic Republic, and that they would be very happy with his policies. The secret channel was Ambassador William G Miller, who served in Iran during the Shah's rule, as Chief of Staff for the Senate select committee on intelligence, and an ambassador to Ukraine. Ambassador Miller has confirmed to me [Leveen] his conversations with Iranian leaders during the 2008 campaign."

While I'm not surprised, I had not heard this prior to Levin revealing it. As shocking as this is, it sounds eerily similar to the message relayed to Vladimir Putin prior to Obama's last election – does it not?

Actually, the more I think about it, the less shocked I am. Remember in 2009, a Pew Research poll found that nearly one-in-five Americans thought Obama was a Muslim. After his support of the construction of the Ground Zero mosque in New York, the number rose to one-in-four.

Now, I don't really believe Obama is a Muslim, but he is a Muslim sympathizer. Many, if not most anti-colonialists are.

He did spend four years in Indonesia as an impressionable child attending Muslim school, where he studied the Koran. We all remember Obama's recollection of the Muslim call to prayer as "one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset," reciting the opening line with a perfect accent.

He has offered immeasurable outreach to the Muslim "community" while offering no such outreach to Christians or Jews. Obama has offered virtually unfettered access to the Muslim brotherhood in the White House.

It's small wonder that he backed the Mohammed Morsi, Muslim Brotherhood government in Egypt. Many are still confused by that move, but I have a theory.

As a Muslim sympathizer, one would naturally be an Israel hater, which Obama is, as well as most of his administration.

Now, is there an Arab country in the Middle East who has had any lasting peace with the nation of Israel, or at least a quasi-agreement of coexistence? Yes – Egypt. So, if one were an Israel hater, logically one must be opposed to any peace with that country. After all, Israel, like the United States, is seen in the Middle East as a colonial power. What better way to undermine any peace between Egypt and Israel than to elect radical Islamists, whose ambition is to wipe Israel off the map.

And then there's Iranian-born Muslim sympathizer Valerie Jarrett, Obama's confidant and puppetmaster. Obama, in my opinion, doesn't make a move or decision without her blessing. I think she's been pulling his strings since he began in politics. It's entirely possible the Jarrett suggested Obama get a message to the Iranian mullahs. I have no proof, but I wouldn't be surprised to find it was so.

Maybe she is the reason Obama appears so distant, so unattached and uninterested in world events. Maybe Jarrett is the reason Obama doesn't appear to be interested in being the president. He's not – she is!
