Apparently, it isn't easy to try to convince people that lies are truths. This was evident recently in speeches by President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry on climate change. Both made ridiculous claims in their quest to give examples of the reality of a warming world.

First, we have the President's statements made at a Nevada town hall meeting, 2/19/2014 in which he literally made it known his absolute lack of knowledge in atmospheric sciences.

The President's own words:

First of all, we just got five feet of snow in Washington and so everybody's like-a lot of the people who are opponents of climate change, they say, "See, look at that. There's all this snow on the ground, you know, this doesn't mean anything." I want to just be clear that the science of climate change doesn't mean that every place is getting warmer. It means the planet as a whole is getting warmer. But what it may mean is, for example, Vancouver which supposed to be getting snow during the Olympics, suddenly is at 55 degrees and Dallas suddenly is getting seven inches of snow. The idea is that as the planet as a whole gets warmer, you start seeing changing weather patterns and that creates more violent storm systems, more unpredictable weather. So any single place might end up being warmer. Another place might end up being a little bit cooler. There might end up being more precipitation in the air. More monsoons, more hurricanes, more tornadoes, more drought in some places, floods in other places.

Obama's statement about Vancouver's weather at this time of the year suggests the temperature of 55 degrees is considerably above what they would normally experience this time of the year.

What he neglected to mention is the climate of Vancouver, British Columbia has a moderate temperate climate where temperatures rarely ever get too cold or hot. This is because of a prevailing on shore wind pattern from the Pacific Ocean. Thus, his claim of a temperature of 55 degrees being abnormally warm is absurd.

His "Dallas getting 7 inches of snow in the middle of February" remark is ridiculous, since it is quite common for Dallas to experience snow at this time of the year.

His mention of violent storms, unpredictable weather, more hurricanes, tornadoes, drought, and floods is a statement in which he hoped to bring to the attention of the people that these atmospheric events are more common today than ever before.

The truth is, there are no more violent atmospheric events taking place today than in previous years. These events affect more people today than ever before simply because there are billions more people on the planet today than just a few decades ago. Large regions of heavily populated areas in today's world were completely unpopulated just 30 years ago. Thus, we now have more people affected by violent weather than at any previous time in human history.

The President's assertion that the world is experiencing more hurricanes is outrageously inaccurate. Here in the United States, for example, we have had a very quiet hurricane season for the most part since 2005.

John Kerry's ridiculous statement in Jakarta, Indonesia accusing what he refers to as climate change deniers using shoddy science against what he says is unequivocal science is a statement only made by a person who knows nothing about the subject of atmospheric science. What Kerry didn't mention was the fact that those who do not believe in climate change get their information from actual weather, climate, and geophysical records made by reputable meteorologists. Not from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), World Meteorological Organization (WMO), and other climate based organizations of the United Nations of which none of them employ any meteorologists, only highly educated environmentalists in field's totally unrelated to atmospheric science like he does.

The truth is, both Obama and Kerry are getting their information from pseudo climate scientists who have been wrong in their assessments of global climate 100% of the time.

A statement Obama made in his 2014 State of the Union speech regarding climate change said that parts of the US coast are being flooded by rising seas. This cannot be classified as anything other than a flagrant lie since no one is seeing it happen. The only time US coastal areas have ever been flooded by the sea is in association with storm surges or tsunami, otherwise sea levels have remained the same since the discovery of the country itself.

I guess the President isn't satisfied with being the biggest liar in America, now he wishes to graduate to being the world's number one liar.

What they did accomplish was proving to the world they are nothing more than 2 enviroclowns with no knowledge at all about climate science.

Examples of the UN lies about climate change can be viewed from a two part article written shortly after the IPCC released their Latest Landmark Climate Change Report.
