I told you back in February about Maryland Senate Candidate Danny Bongino, a former Secret Service agent, who gave an awesome speech in protest of Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley's attacks on the Second Amendment. Recently, Bongino has come out warning people that Barack Obama and his administration are much more dangerous than they think, and it's upsetting a lot of people.
According to the former secret service agent, who protected Barack Obama, things are far worse than we could imagine.
Just how bad are things?
In an appearance with Glenn Beck on The Blaze, Bongino said:
"We're in a lot of trouble.
The President sees government – and I think it's because of his lack of experience and maybe community organizing in the past – as this shiny new toy.
For all the disagreements I had with Clinton, Carter and Bush there were always limits… there was that line you just didn't cross… We cross it seemingly every day. We're lost in the scandals…
The Jamie Dimon shakedown at Chase… the HHS scandal.. Kathleen Sebelius shaking down the health care industry for money… the IRS… it's to the point where these scandals in and of themselves would be huge back-breaking scandals [but] are just lost in the scandal fog of this administration…
It's worse than people know… and I'm not trying to scare you either."
This comes from a man that has protected several presidents over the course of his career. While he has been privileged to hear many conversations in the Oval Office, what he has heard and seen from Barack Obama has had such an impact on him that he is running for Congress.
This is all about an abuse of power, liberty versus tyranny, according to Bongino."You give the government information and it will be abused. It is not a matter of if it'll be abused, it's only a matter of when…When the line between the personal self and the public self… when that line is determined by the government that keeps your information in a trove for release any time they need it, how are you free?" he asked. "The bottom line is, having worked inside the government, it will be abused. It is only a matter of time.
"We are all doing something wrong," Bongino continued. "The catch is not "if" we're doing something wrong. It is "are your private wrongs impacting on my civil liberties?" If not, the government has no business in your life… it's a red herring…If you're not doing something wrong? The question is only whether your private wrongs that have no effect on anyone else become exposed for the government's benefit."
Bongino adds, "It's only a matter of time before someone slaps an email on your desk from fifteen years ago… and says 'look what we got against you.' Remember, when the key is held by someone else liberty means absolutely nothing. That personal and private self are being evaporated."
One thing is for sure about Mr. Bongino, he appears to be the real deal. He took shots earlier this year when he shook things up in Maryland with his straight talk there, which shook up Republicans and Democrats. In fact, it got to the point where he, his wife and his campaign staff were being targeted with violence. Back in April he wrote on his Facebook page:
To the cowards who sent a false press release to some members of the media this morning and interrupted my precious time with my daughter during parent's day at school. And to the cowards who put nails in my wife's tires while she was pregnant with my daughter Amelia. And to the cowards who put nails in the tires of my campaign staff at the GOP convention. And to the cowards who have thrown things at my home late at night waking my now one year old daughter. And to the cowards who have put eggs in our mailbox. And to the cowards who have left vitriolic messages on my home's answering machine and sent hate mail to my home:
You have only strengthened my resolve to fight here & fight now. We will never be intimidated, we will never walk away, we will never be silenced, & we will never stop fighting against the power-brokers of both political parties who believe that a political title is the hallmark of dignity. It is not, dignity & honor are earned by standing for what is right & just, not what is easy & popular.
His post came after a false press release went out to reporters which claimed that he was running for governor with Alan Keyes as his running mate.
With these new statements, one has to wonder if he might want to invest in some body guards of his own. May God protect him and guide him in his endeavors.Don't forget to Like Freedom Outpost on Facebook, Google Plus, & Twitter.
