Barack Obama is once again attempting to tell the Supreme Court how to rule on an issue, just like he did with Obamacare. As the Court looks to the issue of California's same-sex "marriage" ban, Obama, who admitted to experimenting with homosexual rights in college (one wonders just what experimentation was done, especially after seeing some of the photos of those days), urged them to strike down California's Proposition 8 ballot measure.

First, let me say, that the ruling means nothing if the people stand up. They can simply ignore the Court's ruling or nullify it. The Constitution doesn't give the Federal government authority in this area which is a State's rights issue.

"They establish homes and lives together, support each other financially, share the joys and burdens of raising children, and provide care through illness and comfort at the moment of death," the Obama administration wrote.

He left out the part about their community being a direct cause of AIDS. He ignored the contribution of perversion in society and the widespread diseases the homosexual lifestyle breeds. Yes, I'm aware that heterosexuals who engage in sexual activity outside of marriage are just as guilty of promoting similar things. I don't give them a pass either, because in the end we are called to repent of such things.

Interestingly enough though, Barack Obama ran as a presidential candidate in 2008 in opposed the California ban, but did not endorse homosexual "marriage." Last year he came out and endorsed the perversion, saying that his views were "evolving." Actually they are more like devolving.

While we are told that public opinion is shifting on the issue, that doesn't change two things: 1) The Federal government has no say in this matter which is a State's rights issue, and 2) Popular opinion doesn't make something that God calls an abomination right.

In addition to that, just think, California, considerably a liberal state can't even pass Prop 8! That's pretty telling when we hear about the shifting of public opinion. If public opinion is really shifting like that, then just wait a year and put it on the ballot again, right? No chance. The homosexual community, Barack Obama, the Democrats and now many Republicans are ready to ram it down all of America's throats.

This administration has been a lawless one from the beginning and their failure to uphold what was already considered law in the Defense of Marriage Act, ironically signed by Bill Clinton, is just more evidence that the are not interested in upholding the law.

Fox News reports,

One day after the Supreme Court hears the California case, the justices will hear arguments on provisions of the federal Defense of Marriage Act, which defines marriage as between a man and a woman for the purpose of deciding who can receive a range of federal benefits.

The administration abandoned its defense of the act in 2011, but the measure will continue to be federal law unless it is struck down or repealed.

In a brief filed last week, the government said Section 3 of the act "violates the fundamental constitutional guarantee of equal protection" because it denies legally married same-sex couples many federal benefits that are available only to legally married heterosexual couples.

But there's more. I have told you before to beware of where the GOP goes on this. I told you that Newt Gingrich, whose past is filled with adultery, called upon the GOP to go ahead and back the perversion of homosexual "marriage." Now the secret guest speaker at the Republican National Convention, Clint Eastwood, who is described as a "long-time Republican with strong libertarian leanings," is also telling the Supreme Court to drop California's Prop 8 ban.

Hold on to your hats though, because Eastwood didn't just urge the Court to do this, but joined 100 Republican activists (they can hardly be called conservative in any sense of the word while pushing this agenda) in signing an amicus brief to the Supreme Court on the issue.

Mike Flynn at Breitbart gives us an early glimpse of the brief:

Whether same-sex couples should have access to civil marriage divides thoughtful, concerned citizens. But this Court has long recognized that a belief, no matter how strongly or sincerely held, cannot justify a legal distinction that is unsupported by a factual basis, especially where something as important as civil marriage is concerned. ... Our constitutional tradition requires the judiciary to protect our most cherished liberties against overreaching by the legislature or the electorate, and that principle, no less than our commitment to democratic self-government, is necessary to individual freedom and limited government. It is precisely at moments like this-when discriminatory laws appear to reflect unexamined, unfounded, or unwarranted assumptions rather than facts and evidence, and the rights of one group of citizens hangs in the balance-that this Court's intervention is most needed.

Jim at FreedomFighterRadio.net pointed out that a Homosexual Club in downtown Orlando is opening up and there is a protest scheduled for March 9, 2013.

How many of you want to explain this billboard to your children? This is what this kind of perversion does to a society. While it masks as "free speech" it corrupts the minds of the people.

According to the organizers of the protest:

Stand Up America Now is joining local Orlando area residents to “tell Obama, the liberals, and those seeking to destroy marriages and over-sexualize children with inappropriate billboards along the Attractions that they aren’t going to take it, that those types of things aren’t going to fly in our City.”

“They are calling it Pansexuality but what it really is is another way for gayhomosexual culture to reach out and influence your youth and tell them that it’s normal to have another person of the same sex wrapped in chains or sodomized."

“We can’t stand for this type of behavior! We can’t stand for this to be allowed to exist unprotested.”

Obama is leading the nation in the promotion of gay perversion, creating a culture where these billboards in Orlando have become acceptable. Obama is the first US President to write a friend-of-the-court brief to the Supreme Court supporting the expansion of the right of gays sodomites and lesbians to 'marry."

Instead of flaunting their perversion, declaring everyone accept it, and demanding rights which do not exist and nature teaches you that it is wrong, they glorify their rebellion against the Creator and the created order to engage in shameful acts that are unspeakable.

The Scriptures are clear when it comes to both the practicing homosexual and those that endorse their behavior, such as those listed above who,

"knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them."

Mercy can be found for your sins in the person and work of Jesus Christ, but not if you continue to willfully sin against the God who made you.

It is time for the Church, America and her leaders to repent or continue under the judgement of God and it will only get worse. I ask, where are the real leaders in this country who will stand up for what is right, instead of kowtow for political expediency? May God raise them up for such a time as this.
