According to reports, several months ago, top Department of Justice officials and FBI agents met together to discuss opening a public corruption case into The Clinton Foundation. However, the Justice Department killed the attempts for an investigation by three FBI field offices.
CNN's Pamela Brown told Wolf Blitzer, "We've learned what initially grabbed the FBI's attention into this was that a bank notified the FBI saying that there was suspicious activity surrounding a foreign donor to The Clinton Foundation."
"So, what the FBI wanted to do earlier this year was open up a case and investigate whether there was a conflict of interest at the time that donor was making contributions to The Clinton Foundation during Clinton's tenure at the State Department," she added. "There were three DOJ field offices that were in agreement that a public corruption investigation should be launched."
Even though top officials from the FBI and the DOJ met to discuss an investigation, it appears that the DOJ sided more for the Clintons than the FBI. The DOJ claimed that the allegations in the book Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich
were unsubstantiated and claimed that there was not sufficient evidence to open up a case this year.
Interesting, wouldn't you say? We can't be having an investigation going on into a Democrat presidential nominee during the election cycle, can we? Especially, when we consider that one of the most corrupt administrations in history is controlling the DOJ.
In the end, because of the disagreement between the FBI and DOJ, a case was never formally opened. All of this was contained in emails released in August.
The Federalist reported:
The FBI asked the DOJ to open an investigation into a potential pay-for-play relationship between the State Department and the Clinton Foundation, which spends a very small fraction of its funds on actual charity work, but the DOJ wasn't interested — saying it had tried and failed to probe the organization in 2015, CNN reports.
Earlier this week, Judicial Watch, a non-profit integrity group, released a batch of emails revealing that top State Department aides did favors for Clinton Foundation bigwigs during Hillary Clinton's tenure as secretary of State.
Clinton aides Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills helped Doug Band, a Clinton Foundation advisor who co-founded Teneo Holdings — a secretive company that has enriched Clinton aides — find a job for someone within the State Department as "a favor." The two also arranged a meeting with a U.S. ambassador to Libya and a Clinton Foundation benefactor who was convicted of international money laundering in 2000.
When you look at the history of the Clintons and you consider there is a known Constitution lawbreaker as Attorney General, then you know that this is nothing more than covering up for the crimes of the Clinton family. In fact, it's well known the should Clinton take the Oval Office, she plans on keeping Loretta Lynch in her current position.Don't forget to Like Freedom Outpost on Facebook, Google Plus, & Twitter.
