Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity? -Psalm 94:16

Like everything else in politics, most decisions come down to money, not morality.  North Carolina stood against the fascists who tried to force bathroom bills on their people and NC smacked them down.  However, it seems it was because those people didn't have enough money.  Now, the legislature is literally selling the people out on the bathroom bill because the National Collegiate Athletic Association said they were ready to deny championship events to the state from 2018 to 2022 unless changes were made to the law known as House Bill 2.

The threat from the NCAA, which provides for a lot of dollars going to the state for the bread and circus shows they provide, was enough to force Republican representatives and Democrat Governor Roy Cooper to seek out an agreement concerning the bathroom bill.

The ACLU chimed in on the deal.

How this is discrimination is beyond me.  Bathrooms are provided for all people, they just are specifically designated for what gender the people actually are, not what they think they are.

ABC News reports:

Gov. Roy Cooper released the statement Wednesday night about the same time GOP lawmakers unveiled the details of their agreement.

The proposal would repeal the law known as House Bill 2, but it would still leave state legislators in charge of policy on public restrooms. And local governments couldn't pass nondiscrimination ordinances covering things like sexual orientation and gender identity until December 2020.

House Speaker Tim Moore and Senate leader Phil Berger says the legislation will be debated and voted on Thursday. It's unclear if the votes are there to pass it.

Berger and Moore said in a written statement they're pleased the proposal "fully protects bathroom safety and privacy."

Compromise.  That is the issue.  Many people consider it a virtue and while that may be the case in which color you paint your house or who mows the lawn, when it comes to issues of principle and lawfulness, compromise is a devilish word.

Matt Trewhella, author of
The Doctrine of the Lesser Magistrates, comments, "The NCAA spits in the face of Christ - yet Christian men by the hundreds of thousands watch their games and say nothing. Traitors all."

"I support the House Bill 2 repeal compromise that will be introduced tomorrow," Cooper said on Wednesday. "It's not a perfect deal, but it repeals House Bill 2 and begins to repair our reputation."

So, what are you going to do Christian men of North Carolina?  Are you still going to watch the games of the NCAA?  Still going to attend those games sponsored by those imposing their lawlessness on you, your children and your government, all for the sake of money, ease and pleasure?  Where are you men, or have you simply become compromised "women"?
