The NALT Christians Project, or "Not All Like That," is counterfeit. The objective of the group is to promote that agenda, via a "Christian" perspective, that homosexuality is not a sin. This is not "renewed" Christianity, but an old tactic that Satan used in the Garden of Eden when he was swaying Eve, "Did God Really Say?.." And so it goes with homosexuality.
The NALT Christians Project is a fraud, a GLAAD carbon copy cut in a Christian cookie cutter mold. Its intent is to subdue, to deceive outright and without reservation. In calling the group "Christian" it negates its true purpose. That purpose is to remove the words "sin" from the homosexual lifestyle in the name of Christ.
When defining sin there is only black and white, and no shade of gray. The Bible is explicit in its definition of homosexuality as an "abomination," but the network behind the NALT Christians project is as lethal as its message.
Run away from the NALT Christians Project. The message behind the group is one of division, in slicing the Christian community into those who support the movement and those who do not. And those who do not will be met with the same hostility as those who do not support GLAAD and other gay rights activists.
Enter Dan Savage, the founder of the "It Gets Better Project." A militant gay activist, he has on repeated occasions lambasted Christians in the most foul ways. Last year, over 100 students walking out of a conference where Savage was speaking, attacking the Bible and Christians with ferocity. This video is explicit, and contains foul language. But this is the real Dan Savage, one of the men behind the NALT Christians campaign.
Co-Founder John Shore staunchly defends Savage's blatantly offensive anti-Christian message.
But Dan was right. For much too long now, anti-LGBT Christians have used the Bible and the pulpit to bully, malign, and shame LGBT people. And not enough LGBT-affirming Christians have stood up to boldly and clearly say how terribly wrong that is—to say that’s not what Christianity is, that the Bible doesn’t condemn homosexuality, that ”Christian” leaders like Tony Perkins and Maggie Gallagher do not speak for us.
Wrong. This is the spirit of anti-Christ, disguising itself as Christian love. Christianity is acknowledgment of sin, seeking forgiveness of sin, and repenting of sin through the blood of Jesus Christ. The message of NALT is the same as GLAAD. It is about acknowledging homosexuality as an accepted lifestyle and nothing else. Leave sin at the door, it has no place here. There is no coexistence between true Bible believing Christians and NALT.
Dan Savage has aligned himself with this cause for the same reasons the others have. This is a deceptive pulpit to attack true believers, like Tony Perkins and Maggie Gallagher, and others who do not adhere to the homosexual agenda. This is a mirage. This is cubic zirconium disguised as a diamond. It's a fake. This project is for personal gain, for the advancement of the homosexual agenda. Dan Savage is an avowed agnostic, and is actually scheduled to speak at a the Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) convention later this month.
It is interesting that a man aligned with a "Christian" organization would be a prominent speaker at a militant atheist convention. But this in itself shows that the homosexual lifestyle and Christianity are completely incompatible. And it exposes the true nature of a group like the NALT Christians Project, whose aim is to distort and reject the true gospel of Jesus Christ. And in doing so, persecute true believers.
GLAAD appears more threatening largely because they make no claim to be "Christian." But slap the word "Christian" in front of GLAAD and the entire context changes. This is what the Enemy does, creating uncertainty subtly with minor tweaking. "Did God Really Say?" It worked in the Garden, and it works now.
Editor's Note: I have recommended Dr. James White's debate with Freedom From Religion Foundation President Barry Lynn for years as it exposes anyone that would call themselves Christian who would also claim that homosexuality is not condemned in both the Old and New Testaments, just as Janna has written about. By the way, Lynn didn't want the video to get out and threatened to sue the producers because it was such an embarrassment to him.
