Editor's Note: Friends, we don't often post satire, but when we do, we designate it as such. This is satire! Recently, many read the satirical letter from Vladimir Putin we posted. Unlike other sites, even conservative ones, we let you know up front this is satire. While many don't have a problem with people like Rush Limbaugh using satire to make a point, they have a problem with it in print. I want to be clear that John has put together this brief article based on an email he received from Michelle Obama and Organizing for America and used humor to make a point. Hopefully, you can appreciate it. The original follows the satire. Enjoy!

I received a slightly modified e-mail from Michelle Obama. I feel all giggly. Here it is:

John --

You can't just want change. You have to steal it.

You've got to fight for it, too. Barack and I hear that's exactly what you're doing -- thank you. Beating people up is alright too. As long as you do it in a hoodie.

This work matters. Just look at the August congressional recess: For the first time in a long time, our side built some real momentum over the summer -- on everything from immigration reform to climate change.

Then Barrack screwed it up with that Syria thing and the U.N said it was lying about the temperature data. Never the less we still need to see this through.

You're the heart and soul of this organization. That's why OFA wants to hear directly from you. We did receive your on-line survey answers. Why do you want to know about Benghazi? You should know by now that was Bush's fault.

If you haven't had a chance yet, John, weigh in: What is the number one issue that drives you to keep fighting?

I had the privilege of helping get Organizing for Action off the ground earlier this year, and I'm excited about where you're taking it. All the tax free money we have been hauling in is very useful around our house and on our family vacations. Please keep it coming. Remember, we take as little as $3 dollars. This way no one has to know.

There's a lot of work still ahead. As Barack says: Winning an election doesn't bring about the change we seek. Bankrupting the country will do that. So keep the donations coming and do not forget to visit www.benefitsgov.org for your free entitlements.

You're embracing that opportunity -- and all Americans will be better off for it.

Allah Akbar and all that,

Michelle

PAID FOR BY ORGANIZING FOR ACTION.

Now, Here's the original:

There's a lot of work still ahead. As Barack says: Winning an election doesn't bring about the change we seek. It simply gives us the chance to make that change.

You're embracing that opportunity -- and all Americans will be better off for it.

Thanks,
