Michelle Malkin appeared on Fox News' "Hannity" on Wednesday and blasted Janet Napolitano on the charges coming out now that as head of the Department of Homeland Security she has turned the department into a "frat house." Allegations have been made and a lawsuit has been filed by James t. Hayes Jr. regarding the matter. Allegations have been made ranging from sexually charged comments to members of staff to binge drinking on taxpayer funded trips going all the way back to 2009.
Sean Hannity asks Malkin if there are real problems at the Department of Homeland Security.
"Yes, really the tip of the iceberg and it looks less like a frat house than it does a sorority run amuck, Sean," Malkin replied. "And what we have here, I think, is an old girls club and a culture that has been encouraged by Janet Napolitano, or at least, allowed to happen with some of her gal pals, who were put in positions of a great responsibility, when they had little to no actual law enforcement experience. That is what the point of the lawsuit that's been filed by a former DHS official and affidavits that are now coming out, new ones that were filed in conjunction with this lawsuit."
"I mean, that's the story that we've been hearing a lot in many different parts of of this administration, but particularly DHS," she continued. "That people who have no equipment or interest in enforcing the law have been busying themselves on junkets like the one in Colombia in 2009, where apparently the chief of staff, the ICE chief of staff, Suzanne Barr, was involved in a lot of boozing and lewd conduct."
Hannity went on to make sure he was understanding correctly what was taking place. "So people that are ill equipped, not prepared, lacking in experience get these jobs why? Is it just friends with Janet Napolitano? That's the only reason? And then we see the conduct afterwards?"
Malkin affirmed the rhetorical questions of Hannity. "Yes that's right it's classic crony government," she said. "Suzanne Barr worked for Janet Neapolitan in Arizona. She was her chief of staff there, a political appointee, who knew zero about homeland security and obviously, if these allegations are true in this lawsuit, had no interest in enforcing them which, of course, would comport with the attitude of the guy in the White House, who has signaled many times over that he doesn't want the Department of Homeland Security enforcing basic immigration law."
"Then we have Dora Schriro, who is very intimately close with Janet Napolitano," she continued. "Again with the almost no federal law enforcement and zero experience. In fact, zero law enforcement experience and was also a special adviser to Janet Napolitano, before she was appointed five months after Suzanne Barr arrived at DHS in 2009."
Malkin also went on to deal with some of the comments of Joe Biden, referring to him as "OBozo the VP." She diagnosed his comments throughout the year, including his "chains" comment in Virginia this week as being "Bidenrrea" of the mouth. She said that he has an amazing immunity for some reason, but that many of the black community see it for what it is and that is racism.
Nevertheless, the issue at DHS takes center stage as we can continue to expect the Obama campaign to not appeal to the best in people and actually put forth a real race based on his record as President for the past four years. I wouldn't be surprised to see him exercise a bit of executive privilege when it come to DHS and Janet Napolitano.Facebook, Google Plus, & Twitter.
