What are uniformed field representatives of the Department of Justice (DOJ) Community Relations Service (CRS) doing assisting Occupy/anarchist activists outside the Republican National Convention (RNC) in Tampa? This is the question posed by Rebel Pundit as video emerges that seems to imply that the DOJ is somehow helping Occupy/anarchists outside of the RNC.

Rebel PUndit reports,

Exclusive video captured by Breitbart News during Occupy/anarchist demonstrations outside the RNC Tuesday shows CRS field representatives, wearing DOJ logo polo shirts and hats, conversing with Occupy protesters.

In one case, a CRS representative and protester are seen to high-five each other.

CRS representatives are also seen relaying specific instructions to the activists about the location of prearranged buses that were apparently taking them to their next scheduled demonstration.

According to the DOJ's website, the CRS's mission is to be a "'peacemaker' for community conflicts and tensions." While it was created at part of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, it has also grown to encompass the Hate Crimes Prevention Act.

The story is developing, but we already know that the Obama administration has ties to the Occupy movement and that they have openly endorsed the movement as a whole. The question is, what are the protesters actually doing at the RNC and why are the DOJ's CRS helping to load them onto buses?

One thing is for sure and that is Occupy does not have anything in common with the liberty movement as demonstrated by Cynthia Kennedy in her farewell piece today.
