It appears that a group of hackers are targeting message boards along Interstate 30 in Dallas and applying new messages against Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders.

According to Newsweek:

Electronic road signs in Texas have been targeted by hackers with messages against presidential candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.

Signs on Interstate 30 were changed over recent weeks to read "Donald Trump is a shape shifting lizard," "Hillary for prison," and "Free Barrett Brown." A group of hackers called New World Hackers, who have previously targeted the website of Trump, claimed responsibility.

One of the members of the group told Newsweek, "As we stated earlier in the past… Trump is a little bitch. Hillary is worse. Barrett Brown is a legend. Hillary should be in prison for her actions most definitely."

Here are some of the photos of what these hackers have been engaged in:

Perhaps, this sign indicates their actually political ideology, that of socialism.

The statements regarding Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are true. However, one of the other messages they put out has nothing to do with presidential candidates, but rather with what many of us have considered to be a prisoner prisoner, Barrett Brown. Brown faces almost 70 years in prison after the central government infringed his First Amendment rights when he simply linked to 860,000 e-mail addresses for Stratfor subscribers and 60,000 credit card details. In other words, all he did was link to it. He did not disclose the information nor put it out. Yet, for that, he faced over 100 years in prison and 17 federal charges.

While I don't necessarily agree with the actions of the group, one thing this does demonstrate is the vulnerability of message boards to hackers. In a similar manner, I would direct readers to consider the vulnerability of the elections process in the united States with electronic voting and the testimony of the creator of software that would swing an election without anyone knowing it.

Contemplate whether or not the people should engage the voting process in a similar manner to that of events which took place in Athens. Tennessee. Perhaps, if that took place, we might see more able and honest men represent the people.
