If you're a police officer and anywhere close to retirement, you may want to consider doing so – retiring, that is. You see, whether you realize it yet or not, you're being hunted – witch-hunted.
Let me rephrase that. Liberals hate to lose. They can't or won't accept it as a part of life, as we do. Not that conservatives enjoy losing either, but we also know we can't win them all.
Liberals, particularly radicals, never accept defeat, and the radical leftist Holder Justice Department cannot let stand the injustice perpetrated in Ferguson. In their minds, and I'll bet in the mind of our illustrious leader, officer Wilson literally got away with cold-blooded murder. Evidence be damned, this was a race-motivated hate crime.
So now, Holder will be looking for another fall guy cracker. He'll couch it in terms of helping law enforcement, but they'll be gearing up cops with cameras and whatever else they can find to pin a race-based murder rap on some unsuspecting white police officer.
However, I think this is just a start to an ultimate end. Like state and local schools, the feds will throw money at police forces throughout the country. I believe the initial "investment" was announced to be $263 million. Yet that large number has long since been dwarfed by the federal money doled out already to hire local cops. $1 billion of Obama's 2009 stimulus money was spent hiring 7000 new police officers. That same year the House pledged another $1.8 billion to hire an additional 50,000 more over the next five years. These are local cops being paid by the feds.
So when the White House said recently that "The initiative as a whole will help the federal government's effort to be a full partner with state and local law enforcement agencies in order to build and sustain trust between communities and those who serve and protect these communities, "one should begin to see the endgame. It's full federalization of all police, nationwide."
For the left, centralization is the answer to everything, so why not the cops also? Centralized police forces run out of Washington DC, under the direction of the Justice Department.
Remember their mantra: "Never let a good crisis go to waste." Well, Ferguson is the crisis and this president and the radical left are exploiting it and local law enforcement to advance and eventually sell the idea of federalizing all police. It will however be sold as a way to ensure everyone is treated fairly.
There are currently over 18,000 Police Department's nationwide employing over 700,000 officers. Training and standards vary from state to state, which of course is how Ferguson happened. If the police were just all federalized we could control them better.
Now think back to candidate Obama's statement in 2008 regarding his "Civilian Security Force" declaration. Is this what he meant by "We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."
I think a national police force was exactly what he is referring to, and the Ferguson crisis may be just what the doctor ordered to begin to nationalize these rogue local yokel cops.Don't forget to Like Freedom Outpost on Facebook, Google Plus, & Twitter.
