European Christian persecution is already in here. Starting Sunday, young British girls in the Girlguiding organization will be singing a different mantra, changing "love my God" into a godless "to be true to myself and develop my beliefs." Is America ready for the coming storm?

The decline of Christianity in Western Europe is alarming. While we were sleeping, an entire block of countries have turned into places Christians are in the minority. One hundred years ago, over 80 percent of the world's Christians lived in Western Europe and North America. But today, that number has dropped in half to around forty percent. The steepest decline in Christianity is in Western Europe.

christian-persecutionTo prove how few Christians attend church and adhere to Christian values in Western Europe, it is estimated that more people attend Christian church services in communist China than in all of Europe. If this is true, then this clearly shows that the end is near for Christianity in Western Europe. And that intense persecution is the next step. Alarm bells should be sounding in America, but they won't. Not many people will care that this is what our future looks like.

Girlguides-sunflowers-FacebookOne small development that won't likely make any headlines is the changes coming to Girlguiding, a UK organization similar to the Girl Scouts in the U.S. On Sunday, the 450,000 strong organization will have girls repeat that they will be "true to myself and develop my beliefs." For as long as the organization has been in place they have pledged to "love my God." But why should they, when Girlguiding polled its own members and discovered that 37 percent of their members "do not believe in God?" One in four girls aged 8 are in Girlguiding, so this poll is indicative of the beliefs held by children of this age group.

The thought that children as young as 8 have already decided that there is no God is truly shocking and terrifying. This is a generation ripe for destruction. And it is also symbolic of the coming cultural storm that is sure to be swift. The heads of Christians will roll, and they already are. We just don't see it or hear about it. But America is next.

In Germany, Dirk and Petra Wunderlich had their home raided and their four children removed for daring to home school them.

"They were shaken to their core and shocked by the event. But they also told me that they had followed their conscience and the dictates of their faith. Although they don't have much faith in the German state—they have a lot of faith in God. They are an inspiring and courageous family."

Germany bans the practice of homeschooling. Why? Because home schooling allows parents to make decisions regarding what their children will be taught, namely Christianity. This is a threat to public school indoctrination.

Sadly, the Wunderlich's are not alone in their battle against the German government, as another German family, the Romeikes who sought asylum in the United States for homeschooling, are losing their battle against the German government.

"The Obama administration has argued before our federal courts that Germany's policy is legitimate and does not violate either human rights principles generally or religious freedom specifically. "This White House response to the Romeike petition continues to follow this line of argument. Academic success may be present, but governments are justified in banning home schooling for the purpose of suppressing religious minorities. That is the full position of this administration. And it is unacceptable."

index3Yes it is unacceptable, but not surprising. An anti-Christian administration deliberately and knowingly motioning against a Christian family. Currently, the family has lost every court battle, but the HSLDA intends to take their case to the Supreme Court. There is every chance they will not win.

The is the same overtly activist Supreme Court that struck down DOMA and Prop 8. European Christan persecution is gaining traction largely due to the ravenous and litigation happy homosexual agenda. In the UK, American pastor Tony Miano was arrested on July 1, 2013 for making "homophobic" remarks when merely addressing all forms of sexual immorality.

If Barack Obama's administration has it's way, this will be what the United States looks like. A land free from Christian influence. Given his powerful statements on "gay rights" and "gay marriage," it is obvious which side he is on. Not to mention his obvious Muslim ties. Dark days lie on the horizon, as clouds gather. Sooner than later, the storm will be here. As Europe goes, so goes the United States.
