It shouldn't surprise anyone that Obama "can't leave well enough alone" when it comes to Syria. Hell-bent and determined to engage in a fight, Obama announced on Monday he would waive federal law prohibiting the supply of arms to terrorists in order for the US to supply arms and "other military assistance" to the Syrian rebels, according to a report by The Blaze.

It has previously been reported by many news organizations that rebel forces in Syria consist of members of terrorist groups Al Qaeda, Al Nusra, and the Muslim Brotherhood. These groups have aligned themselves with the Syrian opposition aimed at displacing the current president, Bashar Al-Assad. These are the groups Obama has been supporting and asking Americans to support in Syria: these are enemies of the US, who kill Christians, eat the hearts out of their enemies, and adhere to sharia law.

The law the president, if you can call him that, intends to "waive" is known as the Arms Export Control Act. Obama intends to "waive the prohibitions in sections 40 and 40A of the AECA related to such a transaction."

According to the Washington Examiner:

Those two sections prohibit sending weaponry to countries described in section 40(d): "The prohibitions contained in this section apply with respect to a country if the Secretary of State determines that the government of that country has repeatedly provided support for acts of international terrorism," Congress stated in the Arms Control Export Act.

"For purposes of this subsection, such acts shall include all activities that the Secretary determines willfully aid or abet the international proliferation of nuclear explosive devices to individuals or groups or willfully aid or abet an individual or groups in acquiring unsafeguarded special nuclear material," the law continues.

The law allows the president to waive those prohibitions if he "determines that the transaction is essential to the national security interests of the United States."

Under section 40(g) of the AECA, the Obama team must also provide Congress — at least 15 days before turning over the weapons — "the name of any country involved in the proposed transaction, the identity of any recipient of the items to be provided pursuant to the proposed transaction, and the anticipated use of those items," along with a list of the weaponry to be provided, when they will be delivered, and why the transfer is key to American security interests.

The American people rallied against any military intervention in the form of a "limited strike" and possibly sending troops; however, warmongering Obama is determined to support his terrorist brothers, those enemies responsible for killing Christians, women and children, by "waiving" the law in the name of "national security." What is just as sad is the support Obama has garnered from Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN) and Sen. Carl Levin (D-MI). Both appeared on CBS' "Face the Nation" Sunday endorsing the provision of military assistance to the Syrian opposition.

Corker said, "Our intelligence agencies, I think, have a very good handle on who to support and who not to support. And there's going to be mistakes. We understand some people are going to get arms that should not be getting arms. But we still should be doing everything we can to support the free Syrian opposition."

Yes, let's provide arms to the rebels in Syria even though we know that terrorist organizations will receive those arms, then use those arms to abolish Christians, the free Syrian opposition and anyone who will not subscribe to Islamic Sharia Law. Yes, let's assist those growing numbers of jihadists to establish an Islamic caliphate who will, in turn, be ever more hostile toward the United States. Yes, let's make sure we assist those rebels to obtain more chemical weapons to release against any number of people. Yes, every one of you in Congress along with Obama are aiding and abetting America's enemies, which is treason according to the US Constitution. As Winston Churchill so aptly put it, "An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile, hoping it will eat him last."

It is difficult to believe that anyone in Congress believes those terrorists fighting alongside the free Syrian opposition are there to help those "oppressed" under Assad. Congress appears to be under the impression that a revolution against Assad, if successful, will install a better government under the free Syrian opposition. The terrorist groups assisting the rebels are not going to allow any government other than an Islamic Sharia law enforced state to be established. They will kill anyone in opposition to their goal. The cleansing has already begun.

While Assad may be an unsavory dictator, his government allowed Christians to be free from persecution, execution and oppression, along with other religions. This is one internal conflict America needs to avoid completely.

More at The Blaze:

Last week, the Washington Post reported on a "major escalation of the US role in Syria's civil war" after the Obama administration went ahead with its promise to provide "lethal aid" to the rebels.

According to sources, arms shipments of light weapons and other munitions were delivered to the rebels as well as nonlethal gear like sophisticated communications equipment, advanced combat medical kits and vehicles.

The video of Obama's address on Syria is below. If you are allergic to lies, I would highly suggest either avoiding the video, taking some allergy medication or try to get some desensitization to avoid a severe reaction. If, like me, you can stand your dander to get ruffled, then by all means partake and enrage at the numerous misstatements in his address.

Obama believes Syrian president Assad is a threat to our national security. Funny, Obama doesn't believe the 35 terrorists camps in the United States operated by Jamaat Al-Fuqra, aka the Muslims of America, founded by Pakistani Sheikh Mubarak Ali Gilani is a threat to national security and they sit in our own back yards; but, Syria, who has never threatened the US, is a "national security" threat. And why are they a national security threat? According to Obama, "Because I said so."

Everyday, more and more nonsense pours from Washington. Everything, including the American people, is a threat to national security. National Security – what does that really mean? It means anything Washington wants it to mean on a whim; a term to encompass such broad meaning as to justify any action Congress or the oval office occupying man does including finding out how many times an individual phones in a pizza order or what you tell your loved ones while they are overseas. Anyone else sick of that term?

I'm afraid "national security" is going to come back to bite America in the behind.
