So while looking for subject material for a new article to write, I came across a story that seemed too incredible to believe. It came in the form of an article in the LA Times titled "An Underhanded Anti-Obamacare Stunt by the California GOP."

In this article the author, Michael Hiltzik accuses the California GOP of deliberately trying to "sabotage Obamacare."

He writes:

"The California GOP revised its shadow website for the Affordable Care Act roughly two hours after this post first appeared. The site's homepage now carries a direct link to the state insurance exchange Covered California, as well as more prominent links to Covered California on the "Learn More" tab and the "I don't have insurance" tab.

Opponents of the Affordable Care Act never stop producing new tricks to undermine the reform's effectiveness. But leave it to California Republicans to reach for the bottom. Their goal appears to be to discredit the act by highlighting its costs and penalties rather than its potential benefits."

Mr. Hiltzik ends his article with this condescending tidbit: "One can certainly sympathize with the California GOP's desire to become relevant again to the lives of Californians, who have all but voted the party out of existence in the Golden State. Given that California is one of the real bright spots in the rollout of the Affordable Care Act, one might think that the state's Republicans would recognize its value to voters, instead of trying to fill their constituents' heads with irrelevancies, misinformation, and misrepresentations. One would be wrong."

Well that's a pretty bold accusation considering that Democrats in California have taken the state to the very brink of bankruptcy with their insatiable appetite for entitlements and union pensions. And it is a stone cold fact that Obama and Democrats like Barbara Boxer, Dianne Feinstein, Maxine Waters and Nancy Pelosi have been lying to the American people from the very start of the whole health care debate and up to and including, the signing of the ACA in to law. This is a new strategy concocted by democrats to once again, blame the GOP for all of the problems that currently plague our country. However, the truth concerning this grave accusation is quite different.

In an article by Dennis Romero of LA WEEKLY, he comes to quite another conclusion after looking at all of the facts involving this alleged "fake website."

He writes:

"Obamacare registration has been a disaster as a result of the Affordable Care Act's craptastic website. However, California has been a notable exception. The Covered California website works. And people are using it enthusiastically and successfully, at least if you believe the folks who run it. Nearly 432,000 applications have been filed via the site through last month, they say.

Sabrina Lockhart, spokeswoman for California Assembly minority leader Connie Conway, says it's all just politics, which sounds familiar. The site is registered out of Republican Conway's office and is the product of the state Assembly Republican Caucus, Lockhart says. It's been up since August and was erected to help answer questions that she says haven't been addressed by Covered California and the Obama administration. Which leads her to question the timing of Hiltzik's attack -- at a time when Obama's approval ratings are in the basement as a result of the Obamacare website debacle and GOP attacks. Lockhart told us: This website has been up since August. Prior to a few days ago we have received largely positive feedback. This seems like manufactured outrage to deflect from the real problems with the Affordable Care Act, including implementation. She said links to the official Covered California site were there all along but that "we made them more prominent" recently."

It seems to me that California Democrats and their pals in the newspapers there who run blocker and write propaganda for them, have to manufacture an even greater scandal against Republicans to mislead the voters in that state. Democrats "lying"? Say it isn't so! Whatever the case, it seems to me that the Democrats have gotten their second wind after falling on their faces regarding the Obamacare roll-out debacle and are coming out with a new strategy that they hope will help them win big in the upcoming 2014 elections. They cannot afford to lose the Senate and Nancy Pelosi really, really wants to be Speaker of the House of Representatives again (God forbid). Harry Reid has lead the charge with his unbelievably obtuse statement in a recent television interview, where he said that the President was telling the truth, when he said if you like your doctor and like your insurance you could keep it.

That is a pretty big lie. But this technique was developed and used by another in Germany not all that long ago.

The Big Lie (German: Große Lüge) is a propaganda technique. The expression was coined by Adolf Hitler, when he dictated his 1925 book Mein Kampf, about the use of a lie so "colossal" that no one would believe that someone "could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously." The principle that when one lies, one should lie big, and stick to it. They keep up their lies, even at the risk of looking ridiculous.

Anybody else seeing a pattern here? I think as the 2014 elections get closer and Democrats get even more desperate, there will be even more "big lies" coming from the DNC.
