It's New Year's Eve: the last day of December in the year of Our Lord 2013. It is the day the Obama White House hoped to have three million Americans sign up for Obamacare since the Healthcare.gov website was launched on October 1. So far, only about 1.1 million individuals have signed on to receive healthcare insurance through the un-Affordable non-Care Act. According to Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC), the only non-voting member of Congress, the disappointing number of individuals who have signed up for Obamacare is because of Republicans. Norton claims that Republicans have convinced millions of people that the Obamacare law has been repealed.

Appearing on MSNBC with Richard Lui, Norton said it is possible for the White House to reach its goal of 7 million enrollees by the end of March. The reason, according to Norton, "When that fine is going to kick in, you're going to see people trotting to sign on like you've never seen it before."

MSNBC must be grasping at straws for guests in order to have Eleanor Holmes Norton appear via video conference or she serves the purpose for their agenda.

Pardon me Ms. Norton, but Supreme Court Justice Roberts ruled it as a tax, not a fine. The difference between a tax and a fine is a tax must be paid first, which is the case with those who do not have Obamacare – the money must be paid first and then the government must be petitioned in order to get the money returned. That is a tax. A fine or penalty, on the other hand, is assessed after going through all the procedures and then being found in violation – like a fine for speeding or littering. Doesn't look like a fine to me Ms. Norton.

Norton said in support of her statement, "What we have been battling now is, first, every time the House couldn't think of anything else to do, it had a big debate on repealing Obamacare. So, there are millions of people out there who think it was repealed. So, there was no way to break through that very easily."

Oh, come now Ms. Norton. Do you honestly think that the majority of Americans thought Obamacare was repealed when all America has heard from Democrats is how everyone supports the nationalization of America's broken healthcare system? Let's be honest here. Every elected Congressional member who is a Democrat, along with the RINOs, has lauded over the airwaves and in news print about the failure of Republicans to repeal "the law of the land" – Obamacare. This has been broadcast throughout the lame stream enemedia as well as been reported through alternative news sources. Want to try something else?

Before Eleanor could speak more about the train-wreck that is Healthcare.gov, the video ended. But, we all know that Eleanor is good at the open mouth insert foot routine and never fails to deliver some tidbit of that in interviews.

Norton attributed the surge of enrollees in December to procrastination, "something we all do – wait until the last minute." For those sheeple, who intended to sign up for the most brilliant piece of legislation since the NDAA, regardless of its constitutionality, it might just be, Ms. Norton, the website would not function enough to allow them, signaling this administration knowingly sabotaged its own signature law for its own unknown purpose. Even now, no one who has been foolish enough to sign away their right to direct their own medical care has been able to make a payment to ensure coverage. Obama has ordered insurance companies participating in the exchanges to cover those individuals anyway, paying out benefits when no premiums have been received. So, sing again about how many individuals are truly, formally enrolled.

I believe, Ms. Norton, that you underestimate the many patriotic Americans in this country, who see this law as nothing but the government's way to control the masses. There are many of us who refuse to sign up, enroll and pay one dime to support an unconstitutional law. It's known as civil disobedience. Many states have initiated the nullification process, which is the correct course of action when the federal government usurps power and operates outside its Constitutional limits. Incidentally, this tax disguised as a fine, sounds like coercion by the government to get the people to do its bidding. I have one word for you – tyranny. And, in case you and everyone else missed this, Ms. Norton, it is every American's God-given right to refuse to obey unjust laws that violate our God-given rights.

Let me ask you this, Ms. Norton. If this goal is to provide every American with health care insurance and this law is so great, why are there so many that have been exempted from participation? Sounds a bit like inequity of the law. But, what can you expect of a law that was passed totally by Democrats, without one Republican vote, that hides a tax behind the false misnomer of "fine," was initiated in the Senate, and is changed on a whim by verbal executive decree.

Another thing Ms. Norton, are you telling this country the House has so little to do that is why the repeal of Obamacare kept coming to the House floor? Well, if that's the case, it is past time to lower everyone's salary in Congress, as all of you are being overpaid for the amount of work you do. While we are at it, Congressional staff should be downsized as well since the current number of staff are probably more than is needed based on your assessment. In other words, Ms. Norton, you and your ilk are the fodder. You should be "embracing the suck" through all Americans boycotting this government by refusing to pay one more dime of taxes to this institution of criminals disguised as the federal government.

How about we play "let's make a deal," Ms. Norton. When members of Congress and the federal government, including those in the White House, are held accountable for criminal acts, such as tax evasion, on an equal footing with other Americans, I'll pay. When the government deals with the American people honestly, I'll pay. If the government returns to operating within its enumerated powers outlined in the Constitution, I'll be glad to pay. When laws are applied equitably and enforced, I'll pay. When the occupant of the White House stops trying to be a dictator, I'll pay. When you, Ms. Norton, a non-voting member of the House, stop acting as though you have some important role in government, I'll pay.

So, let me simplify this for you, Ms. Norton, I'm not paying. There's more than one way to skin a cat Ms. Norton, and the resourceful Americans out there are finding ways. Go back to sleep now, Ms. Norton. Whether you realize it or not, you are irrelevant.
