America It’s Time To Remind Politicians We Are Their Keepers; Not The Other Way Around

Today it was reported that democrats in congress are beginning to show concerns their healthcare premiums may skyrocket with the implementation of Obamacare. These corrupt politicians that were voted in office by some severely misguided people are actually threatening to quit congress if their health care premiums go up. In other words what they are saying is that they are afraid of the costs of the so called Affordable Health Care Act. These people make upwards of $170,000 a year and they are complaining that they may not be able to afford Obamacare? What does that suggest for you and me? What is it going to take to get the average useful idiot to look at this and see it for what it is? Seeing as though President Obama's approval rating is still a whopping 45% amidst all these scandals it may take quite a bit. These people have a lot of nerve and are anything but honorable. Congress read my lips. If you fail to follow the laws of the land (THE CONSTITUTION,) remember that I am under no obligation to follow unconstitutional laws.

In the America I thought I lived in it was once believed that something as heinous as this would be enough to spark a justifiable outrage that would reverberate through the halls of congress reminding these people who they work for. Not today, not only are a vast amount of people just completely oblivious to what is going on or what the truth is, the politicians themselves just plain do not care about what we think as their only motivation is money, power and prestige. It's funny because as a social work student I was constantly reminded that it was capitalism and conservatives that took advantage of poor and under privileged people, and we should look to the government to make everything fair. It seems to me when you have a government that has an insatiable appetite for the tax payer's money and makes no effort to govern to the will of the people they are the ones taking advantage.

Also in today's headlines is the shocking revelation that while you and I and every other Dick and Jane across the country were being spied on for our own good, the terrorists we were supposedly being protected from were not. That's right; Mosques across the country were exempted from the NSA's national "treat Americans like the terrorists spy program." When coupled with the federal attorney who tried to convince Americans that criticizing Islam could be a federal crime a real comforting image begins to emerge. As we speak right now our Senate is planning on passing the amnesty bill without securing the borders first. Over the past couple of months there have been four Muslim terrorist attacks and an entire Christian village was slaughtered by Muslims, yet we are the ones the government wants to watch? Here is another document that you need to read America, its several years old but it seems that even though it was originally retracted because of the controversy it is still guiding policy on how to treat conservatives, or people who just love their country. Read it real good America because this what Department of Homeland Security Police are being taught to believe. Don't blame me I am only showing it to you, I didn't write it. This is a subject that really gets my goat because they keep pushing this idea that Americans are intolerant and racist, yet there is a Mosque less than a mile from my home and they are left alone to worship in peace because we as Americans believe in their right to religious liberty as we believe in ours. It's just a shame their religion is what it is.

Finally in true Bill Clinton wag the dog fashion, today is the day that Syrian forces under the command of Bashar al-Assad reportedly crossed President Obama's red line and used chemical weapons against his people. Is anyone shocked by this? I'm surprised it took this long. Of course liberals were furious when Bush went to war with Iraq and Afghanistan but I hear about the same amount of noise coming from them as they made when the gas prices soared to their highest levels ever, under Obama. When they went up under Bush it was his fault because of his association with oil companies, when they went up under Obama he was trying to solve the problem. Never mind all of the wasted millions in tax payer dollars subsidizing sham green energy companies, he was trying to clean the environment you see. As far as Syria is concerned I have written in the past about the Project New American Century which laid out the war plans for not only Iraq and Afghanistan but Libya and Syria as well. The end goal is the total encirclement of Iran. This gives further credibility to the fact that American presidents are merely puppets being controlled by a master that does not have our interest at heart. Obama simply picked up where Bush left off. If Americans could look for truth and stop fighting over the democrat republican illusion we would see this.

America it is due time that elected politicians once again realize that we are their keepers and not the other way around. They have reached a point of absolute despotism and simply do not care about the voice of the people. It's time we remind them that they derive their governing authority from us and laws that do not abide by the constitution put the people under no mandate to abide by said laws. This has been decided by the Supreme Court of the United States people. The only way we can stop this is to educate ourselves and understand what the constitution set out to do. Create a system of government where we give authority to a system designed to be kept in check by not only three separate but equal branches but by us, the people.

May God Bless America

Half of the US (legal) population is either asleep, racist (for continually supporting an undeniably corrupt and lying president just because he looks black) or bought and paid for. KarenWI

Folks! You're soon going to learn that our "openly" SELF-PROFESSED" Anti-Christ(Marxist) President is the "RIGHT" Anti-Christ over u.s. this time! p.s. Welcome to Adam's world, who gets equal blame! I just can't make this stuff up! Revelation, chapter 11 predicts only 144,000 Anglo-Saxons survive for what our "women alone" did this time!

I think it's unfortunate that the term limits don't exist and that the voting for these guys happens for far apart. At this point, I am wanting to vote on Congressmen every year and Senators every two years. If they had to be more accountable to their constituents, they might do a better job. We pay them a lot of money to screw us, become corrupt, conveniently exempt themselves from laws they pass, give themselves raises and perks that we don't get. There is so much wrong with Washington and it is only getting worse.

    • azwayne

Term limits already exist for every voter and citizen, you surrender when you don't get educated enough to vote correctly.

    • Ruggedlark

I'm not convinced term limits really exist.

We have a Rep. in Oregon, who ran when I was graduating highschool, and he's still in DC. I graduated in '83. Why is he still there?

And. Remember the judges. They Retire midterm, so another can be appointed by the sitting governor of a State, or the POTUS. We are always stuck with the poopy choices. Depending on whose in office.

Why don't judges have to list their political affiliation?

  • redpens

Democrats voted to shove Obamacare down our throats. Now the chickens are coming home to roost. They own it all. No Republicans voted for it, so they can't scream it was bipartisan. If they're so concerned, why don't they all rise up, defy Pelosi, Reid, and Obama, and join the Republicans and vote to repeal this monstrosity. If it gets a 2/3 majority, an Obama veto won't matter. It will be gone. But they're all cowards and won't stand up to this Chicago bully.

  • get-it-on

Sure enough, we pay these worthless fruitcakes (aka, politicians) to take our money and our rights. How the hell did they bamboozle us into this arrangement? I fear there are not enough righteous people left in this country to stop the continual assault on our civil liberties and the theft of our hard earned money.

    • azwayne

They only get away with it because WE allow it. Why would anyone send tax dollars to washington to be wasted they way they do? It is SINFUL and it is IMMORAL. What does it take for citizens to take their government back?

    • Ruggedlark

      What Does it take?

If this writer really is a freelance writer and researcher, he would know that Congress is exempt from obombacare.

Nothing "man-made" can't be changed, yes it takes guts and brains, are we short of BOTH??

We the People are the SOVEREIGN RULERS of America. As such we collectively control the government. Therefore We the People must work together to control the criminals within our government.

    • KYSTEELGIRL

That's becoming harder everyday with the MSM and the WH continually saying Conservatives are haters. Obama has split our country so successfully people seem to forget we are Americans first. Obama has certainly shown that "United we stand, Divided we fall" works....

    • azwayne

Is that a good reason to SURRENDER? You like the sounds of the FEMA camps, think about it personnally.

    • KYSTEELGIRL

Don't know where you got that we should surrender....that word is not in the vocabulary of most Americans!
When I was growing up in the 40's & 50's being raised by my mother she always told us "when the going gets tough, put your shoulder in it & shove"...Surrender Never!

  • Justcallmebub

Yes we can do this and remind them, but there is only one problem with that,
they've already protected themselves from us when they voted themselves to receive a
retirement for just serving one term. This is the reason they ignore the people
today on issues that are important to us.. They can't lose either way

    • azwayne

A majority of citizens CAN CHANGE their rules and benes. All it takes is organizing.

    • Ruggedlark

      I like your attitude.

  • Jude O'Connor

They have given themselves the power to make the laws (our Constitution) and they can exempt themselves from laws, all legal and nothing we can do to stop it. Think back when we all screamed (85%) we were happy with our health insurance and our Congress jammed it down our throats without reading the bill. There are those walking the streets that have no idea who is the VP, Speaker of the House, number of Senators and the number of Representatives in the Congress and could care less.

    • Ruggedlark

Too many people watch stupidvision, and have no desire to be informed. To them, sound bites are news.

  • jwright673

We are most certainly their keepers, and we are keeping them in fine style while they thumb their collective noses at us. Time for term limits, reducing the size of congress, and hey, when was the last time you heard from even ONE of maobama's czars? Plenty of fat to trim off..

No, the only way to fix this and America's other problems that have her teetering on the precipice of degeneracy and destruction, is to dump this humanistic system of, by, and for the people and return to our true 1600 Christian heritage and government of, by, and for Yahweh, the God of the Bible.

    • jkdriss

Sir, I agree with you however, there are many people rightfully or wrongfully so that would oppose the rule of a theocracy. I agree, people need to look to God however people cannot be forced to practice what you are suggesting.

    • http://www.bibleversusconstitution.org/ Ted R. Weiland

      Jkdriss, thanks for your input.

When one understands that the principal means by which we keep the
First Commandment is by observing Yahweh's other moral laws (of course, under the New Covenant, through Christ as Lord and Savior, motivated by love) and that idolatry is not so much about statues as it is statutes, it becomes clear that all governments are theocratic, serving either the true God or some false god, demonstrated by
what laws they keep and consider the supreme law of the land.

Furthermore, all non-existent false gods (1Corinthians 8:4-6) always
have been and always will represent we the people in one form or
      another.

"...There is no escaping theocracy. A government’s laws reflect its
morality, and the source of that morality (or, more often than not,
immorality) is its god. It is never a question of theocracy or no
theocracy, but whose theocracy. The American people, by way of their
elected officials, are the source of the Constitutional Republic’s laws.
Therefore, the Constitutional Republic’s god is WE THE PEOPLE.

"People recoil at the idea of a theocracy’s morality being forced upon them, but because all governments are theocracies, someone’s morality is always being enforced. This is an inevitability of government. The question is which god, theocracy, laws, and morality
will we choose to live under?..."

For more, see online Chapter 3 "The Preamble: WE THE PEOPLE vs. YAHWEH" at the same address above.

    • jkdriss

You know, I really don't have a rebuttal to that. That was very well said and very true.

    • Ruggedlark

Are you saying immorality is a theocracy?

I don't think so. And, I don't believe all governments are theocratic. I think some governments are just about power-taking what they want and keeping people down.

I think our government is moving in that direction, fast. And, there is no God governing the people governing us.

    • http://www.bibleversusconstitution.org/ Ted R. Weiland

Some theocracies are indeed immoral. For example, any theocracy based upon sharia is immoral, as is any government based upon anything other than Yahweh's perfect law (Psalm 19:7-11).

    • Ruggedlark

Ted. I don't think we are in dispute here. I asked if immorality was a theocracy.

Perfect law, as stated in the Psalm, does not exist.

    • http://www.bibleversusconstitution.org/ Ted R. Weiland

Perfect law does exist. Yahweh's morality has not ceased to exist. It's just not being implemented, thanks to the framers' failure to expressly establish government on Yahweh's perfect law and altogether righteous judgments. Instead, they chose to implement their own traditions (Matthew 15:6-9), establishing a government of, by, and for the people instead of, by, and for Yahweh (like the 1600 Colonial governments), thereby making the Constitutional Republic a theocracy under the god WE THE PEOPLE.

    • Ruggedlark

Again. I don't think we disagree. The Law of the Lord as stated and written only exists on paper. Its not implemented anywhere, that I can think of-therefore, it does not exist.

And. To your point. We the People, aren't electing persons of morality. People who believe in God, as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We the People are becoming Godless. Athiests. People still practice paganism. And, while there are many Christian religions, our nation is being slowly infiltrated by other old religions.

If you think people will just fall in line and start reading the bible, and going to church and...well. Religion is, mostly, an indoctrination. Unless you come to it, willingly and at an age when a person is responsible for themselves.

    • David Hodges

The author of the law of a society is the (G, g)od of that society. The children of Israel worshipped false gods and embraced the laws of the heathens among them. These two concepts go hand in hand.

    • Ruggedlark

I don't think I'm in a disagreement here, and I'm NOT a student of Christianity.

However, What happens now, is people that don't care about the belief in God, and since they don't, why do morals, or why do our Constitution count as any sort of guideline for morality, anywhere?

    • David Hodges

Every group chooses some guideline (some god) for morality. I choose Yahweh's law because it is perfect. His law mandates that the guy who swipes my hubcaps must restore them, several times over, or be sold into slavery, or die if that doesn't work out. The god We The People robs me even more to build the thug a big home and pay guards to keep him in his home.

  • Elton Robb

We should not go to War in Syria. We have to fix the problems we have here at home first.

  • Dalgast

We will always have problems with politicians, because we have a government. It's Governments job to govern the people, and another word for govern is rule. All forms of government eventually evolve onto a totalitarian oligarchy, ours was no different. You want to fix the problem of out of control politicians, idiotic bureaucracies, then abolish government, kill all the politicians and bureaucrats and we can be ride of a good 90 % of our problems. Yes, I am promoting Anarchy, it's the only form of government that hasn't been tried.

    • jkdriss

Well at least your honest. I think you are right to a degree though because it is simply the nature of man to be despotic when given the power to do so.
