RINO Lindsey Graham Slams Rand Paul’s Filibuster As “Ridiculous”

lindsey grahamLast night, while watching the “Rand Paul Filibuster Show” on C-SPAN, I discovered the well known Republican Senators were having dinner with Barack Hussein Obama at the White House. I presume it was to go over how he would get some of the RINOs in the Senate to go along with the Continuing Resolution. Then I had a different thought and tweeted (Yes, I’m learning Twitter well now and even began #DiningWithObama last night) the following:

Well lo and behold, look what I discovered. H/T GatewayPundit

The Senator and RINO from my State, Lindsey Graham decided that instead of supporting Rand Paul and his stand on the Constitution’s Fifth Amendment, that he would mock it.

Graham stated,

“The drone program he (Obama) has utilized overseas, I think has made us safer. This idea that we’re going to use a drone to attack a citizen in a cafe in America is ridiculous and I think the American people need to understand the threat we face.”

Well apparently I was right. Graham is taking up for Obama in this endeavor instead of demanding a straight answer from Brennan and the White House like Senators Rand Paul and Ted Cruz have done.

However, we shouldn’t be surprised at Graham’s response. This is a man that had no problem steamrolling the Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Amendment rights of American citizens on U.S. soil in backing the 2012 National Defense Authorization Act with its indefinite detention provisions.

This is the same man that stood on the floor of the Senate and said that people taken under those provisions in the NDAA are to “Shut up! You don’t get a lawyer!

How can he say “we’re going to use a drone to attack a citizen in a cafe in America is ridiculous,” when the administration and the man nominated to head the Central Intelligence Agency won’t say that they won’t?

Brennan has been asked point blank about this many times by Senator Paul and his unwillingness to answer the question is what lead to the 13 hour filibuster yesterday. In fact, those thirteen hours were for educating the American people on just how far we have descended into tyranny and it was thirteen hours of Rand Paul calling upon the White House and Barack Obama to answer the question, which is Constitutional and does potentially impact every person on U.S. soil.

Instead of manning up and answering, Obama was feasting at our expense with turncoat Republicans at the White House.

While Paul tried to be gracious and say that he believed Obama wanted to do the right thing in his heart, I completely disagree. If he wanted to do the right thing, he would do the right thing. Instead, I think Paul’s point about the fact that Brennan and the White House have dodged this issue is because they don’t want the answer to be made public.

I’ve got a little tip for any public officials at the local, State, or Federal level. Take a look at what Senator Paul did last night. If that type of stand on the issues is not in your blood, then if you are up for re-election in 2014, don’t count on staying in your position.

Rand Paul did what his father has done and that is to try and stand for the law of the land. He did something last night that the GOP presidential nominee couldn’t do, and that is defend the Constitution and rally real American patriots to his battle cry. People wouldn’t sit for thirteen hours listening to Mitt Romney like that and Paul was only dealing with one issue! However, Paul was able to communicate in such a way, primarily because he is not a lawyer, that it reverberated from coast to coast.

I was sorely disappointed in his confirmation vote of Kerry and Hagel. However, Rand Paul’s stand yesterday was a breath of fresh air and I believe will be remembered as a historical event in our nation. May God bless his efforts in this matter.

UPDATE: RINO John McCain was also at the dinner with Obama and he too, has attacked Rand Paul.

“Calm down, Senator,” McCain said, in an apostrophe to Paul. “The U.S. government cannot randomly target U.S. citizens.”

Business Insider reports,

“McCain, a staunch foreign policy hawk, said Thursday that Paul’s warnings that the U.S. could target “Jane Fonda” or “people in cafes” bring the debate into the “realm of the ridiculous.”

“If Mr. Paul wants to be taken seriously he needs to do more than pull political stunts that fire up impressionable libertarian kids,” McCain said, adding: “I don’t think what happened yesterday is helpful to the American people.”

Hey McCain, Paul was taken seriously for 13 hours! You weren’t taken seriously in 2008 and you haven’t been for a long time. With this latest stunt it’s unlikely that you will ever be taken seriously.

It is Graham who is ridiculous. He is aligned with McCain who represents the old guard of the Republican party. Their day is over as they have failed to live up to Republican or Conservative principles. They never connected with the base. Their attempt to be Conservative Lite or Democratic Strong in an appeal to the “center” never worked. The Left Wing of the Democratic Party won the debate with the old guard and it is time for the Republicans to learn from that. Republicans want smaller government, lower taxes, stronger military, and higher morality. Those simple four words encompass what we stand for. It the government refuses to acknowledge that US citizens in the US not engaged in an imminent threat are not entitled to a trial than it is time to call them to account. Trial by jury is not just an idle thought the founders put into the Constitution.

Graham, McCain and the rest like them should retire and leave the future of the party to Rubio, Paul, and Cruz and those like them. What is the sense of electing Republicans if they are going to act like Democrats once they are in office?

Sen. “RINO” Graham must be bipolar. One day he is “on the money”. The next, he is off in lala land. With his lips firmly planted in their usual position, affixed to Sen. McCain’s buttocks, he jumps on board the McCain “maverick express”. You can count on these two bobsie twins to be found criticizing not Democrats, rather other Republicans. In these dangerous times, that is just what the Country needs.

It is well past time to put Lindsey Graham out to pasture. I would say Soylent Green for him but he already gave us a bad taste of himself. Maybe the fate of those over 30 in the movie “Wild In The Streets” except he would probably enjoying tripping for the rest of his worthless life.

Im a 40 year old FORMER Republican. I watched approximately 5 hours of the filibuster. Does it sound like Im just an impressionable Libertarian kid? Rand Paul, Ted Cruz and a few others stocks have gone up immensely in my book. Men who will stand for the people and the Constitution are in short supply, but numbers are growing. I tried to tweet to @stand with rand but didnt get it accomplished. If it had gone through it would have shown my support for Rand and also let my senators Claire McCaskil and Roy Blunt know that their absence of support for this was duly noted. I didnt vote for Claire and there will be a replacement sought for Roy. Ron Paul started waking people up and opened a lot of eyes. Rand is continuing that and has a better platform in the senate than his father ever had in the house. Go Rand. Keep stickin it to em.

Lindsey Graham is full of Bullsh#$. If he does not understand that the reason the Justice Department and the White House could not provide a simple yes or no answer to Rand Paul’s question(s) was because it was an intent/plan to use drones against American citizens at will. Then Senator Paul received an answer from the DOJ. I would not trust the response. We have a renegade administration that fails to adhere to the Constitution and if the law interferes in what they want to do, the do it anyway. The White House had not responded to question(s) by Friday evening, Mar 8, 2013. We need more Rand Paul’s and much fewer Lindsey Graham’s and John McCain’s.

Grahamesty needs to have Gov. Nikki Haley run against him next time and beat his RINO butt, send him into retirement or being a lobbyist for the Democrat Party.

What would you expect from such a warped, sick person who is convinced that people have a “Right from God” to sodomize one another. “The eye that alters, alters all”. Blake.

The RINOs are out in strength to support Obama. And, that includes McCain .

I would like to suggest that the republicans work hard to get back the Christian Conservatives who have given up on any changes in our future other then what we know is going to happen. This Country is being flushed down the toilet and it is truly sad. We love our Country and what it once stood for. The left has caused a complete moral decline in this country. I will vote but, no longer watch the news daily, and have ditched many websites, facebook, and feel our government is totally incapable to stand for what truly is right.
I now watch the christian news, and the Jewish News to find out what is really going on in the Middle East. I find that being prepared for the future is of utmost importance. This complete change of heart came after the election. I cannot be the only christian with this attitude.

South Carolina needs to vote Graham into retirement !!!!!
