Today our nation is in turmoil due to a mass shooting by people with Mental Health problems. But instead of working to find the root of the Mental Problems that actually caused these problems, our so-called leaders are attacking the results of the problem, “guns”! A gun, no matter what type or where it comes from can do nothing at all as it sits on a shelf or in a gun locker. This inanimate object is the scorn of all Socialist, Communist, Marxist and all others whom hate Freedom and what Guns and the Second Amendment protect. The brave men whom sat down and wrote the Second Amendment knew very well that this one part of the Constitution was the most important part and if this part was destroyed no matter how little, the rest of the Constitution could not stand because the “people” could not defend it without arms to protect what the Second Amendment was placed into the Constitution for, “The right For The people” to keep and bear arms in numbers that would suppress any army wishing to take that freedom away.
Thomas Jefferson, the most famous of the men whom sat down and wrote the Constitution and the Second Amendment stated why the Second Amendment was so very important when he stated:
“For a people who are free, and who mean to remain so, a well organized and armed militia is their best security.” Thomas Jefferson
Many will say that this means the army or other branch of services which defend our nation, but they would be wrong because the branches of service defend our nation on the outside of our shores. Here is why the writers of the Constitution wrote the 4th Amendment, which gives that protection to the “People”. It seems that Thomas Jefferson even had an insight to the reality of today and he showed that the Second Amendment was designed for the “protection’ of the individual from the criminal with harm to life, limb or property.
“Laws that forbid the carrying of arms… disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes… Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.” Thomas Jefferson
Here, it is like Thomas Jefferson had a glance at the future and saw that an armed citizenry was the best protection from a criminal. But today we have Senators, Representatives, and even the Executive Branch forgetting their oath of office to, “support and defend" and "…preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
Instead of doing this they are as close to an act of treason as one could get by declaring that they have a right to change what the Constitution means and was written to mean. Anyone who takes positive action to counter the Constitution as it was written is and should be considered an enemy to the freedom we as a nation love so very dearly. It is up to us, “We the People” to ensure that the Constitution is Not destroyed by those whom have “opinions” that the people should not be armed.
"Our attachment to no nation upon earth should supplant our attachment to liberty." - Declaration of the Causes and Necessity for Taking Up Arms, June 26-July 6, 1775
Here it is very clear as to yet another reason why Thomas Jefferson and all the others found it most necessary to have a Second Amendment for the people in order to preserve a free state. This is why the people have the right to bear arms. Our worst enemy is sitting on our shores and we are allowing them to attempt to dictate to us what citizens can and cannot do in regards to keeping and bearing arms. The United Nations is one of those pushing to disarm every law abiding citizen so they can take over the United States with international law that destroys our liberties, freedom and sovereignty!
Our very first President seems to have had the idea and insight to what is now going on in our nation; the very nation he helped develop. George Washington stated:
“However [political parties] may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion.
GEORGE WASHINGTON, Farewell Address, Sep. 17, 1796
Washington knew that one day the very government he fought to establish would become a monster that would seek to eliminate the Constitution and our freedom. This seems to be starting today with high officials ignoring the Constitution and doing all they can by going from place to place and agitate the people to do their will. This is what a modern day King George would have done. He would have been much like Obama today; a tyrant with no concern for the people or the Constitution, which gave the power to the People.
Government is not reason, it is not eloquence, it is force; like fire, a troublesome servant and a fearful master. Never for a moment should it be left to irresponsible action.
GEORGE WASHINGTON, attributed, Upton Sinclair's The Cry for Justice
Our First President knew that if the government took over certain areas they had no business in that the people would become the servants to the government and it almost looks like the people are very close to becoming the people chained to servitude, rather than freedom!
Just how much longer are we the Citizens of the United States going to allow the United Nations to stay on our soil and attempt to dictate to us? I say,
"Let Freedom Ring from every church tower, every corner, and if anyone does not like the ringing of liberty from the streets of the United States, than they should silently leave!"
This is our nation; our United States. If Obama, Feinstein, Jackson Lee, Boxer, Schumer, and all those who seem to hate our rights under the Second Amendment don’t like what our Constitution states, they are free to leave at any time and should do so as fast as they can, for we have no place in these United States for traitors!
