Tens Of Thousands Call For Piers Morgan To Be Deported

After CNN's Piers Morgan got spanked on national television this week by Gun Owners of America President Larry Pratt, people took to the White House petition site calling for the British host to be deported from the U.S. over his gun control views. Yes, I know, it won't do any good to do that, but still it's interesting to see the amount of people participating in the petition.

The petition only went up on the 21st of December and has already garnered 33,360 signatures as of the writing of this article. There is another similar petition that has also received far less signatures.

The petition reads:

British Citizen and CNN television host Piers Morgan is engaged in a hostile attack against the U.S. Constitution by targeting the Second Amendment. We demand that Mr. Morgan be deported immediately for his effort to undermine the Bill of Rights and for exploiting his position as a national network television host to stage attacks against the rights of American citizens.

I don't expect much by way of this except to say that Piers Morgan is probably enjoying a lot of publicity over this. After all, even bad publicity is still publicity and since CNN is drowning in the ratings of viewers. This only further helps him.

In fact, the Associated Press said that he seemed "unfazed - and even amused." Apparently he replied on Twitter for those petitioning his deportation to "bring it on." He followed it up with another Tweet asking if any other countries would have him.

I was actually thinking since he touts how the United Kingdom is so great, why in the world doesn't he just go live there? I mean why would you want to live in America if you think it's such a terrible place and filled with such "absolutely stupid" people. This is how he referred to Mr. Pratt.

Furthermore, I actually think freedom of speech is a good thing here. Larry Pratt was able to profoundly demonstrate what a foolish, ignorant, emotional, silly, "out to lunch," non-thinking moron that Morgan is. Again, we have the First Amendment to thank for that!

While I have similar sentiments over Morgan as many of these who sign the petition have, I'd just like to remind everyone that the last time the Brits attempted to tell Americans what to do they got their rears handed to them and we sent them packing back across the pond.

I don't like the man. In fact he is from Dallas Texas. He was taught how to have a British Accent to give him a so called edge in the Television World. I saw it on a TV show and he told the story. Yes, if he isn't using his Brit Accent you can definitely tell he is from Dallas. I do agree if he hates living in America, then he should apply for citizenship in England.

That is why he finds this all so amusing.

Morgan is just another limey gun grabbing toady. He needs to go and do it now.

someone need to tweet this link to Morgan. Dare him to talk about this news item about his own country. England says to america, do not give up your guns. TGKR http://conservativevideos.com/2012/12/england-warns-america-dont-let-them-take-your-guns/

PIers Morgan complaining about the U.S. while living her is like a man complaining about how worthless his wife is. If she is that worthless, what does his being married to her say about him?

Although Morgan's views on guns may be moronic, it should be remembered that he raised an enormous amount of money for the Wounded Warriors Project when he won Celebrity Apprentice a few years back.

Deportation seems a little extreme. And with his pathetic ratings, does it really matter what his opinion is?

So much for freedom of speech.
"I may not agree with what you say but I will defend to the death your right to say it."

Freedom is not forced agreement with the popular opinion. It is the free expression of ideas. The one that wins is the popular one, but you don't deport or kill people for holding to an unpopular opinion. What is wrong with you people?

All he has done is state the bleeding obvious!!! You don't have to own a bloody assault rifle to be free! So you don't happen to agree! OK! Is that a crime? No it isn't!!

In any case all Pierce is doing is engaging in a debate. I really have misgivings about America now. You are on a slippery slope to oblivion.

Got to love those British! They are totally against guns, toothbrushes and tasty food.
When he's confronted by a mugger ( providing he DOESN'T have his security detail with him ), he may wish he had a gun ( if the pansy even knows how to hold one ) to keep from getting shot, stabbed or clubbed to death. I liked him as a judge on America's Got Talent, but seeing as how he has none, maybe he should go back across the pond.

There's nothing wrong with our 2nd amendment or our bible.

It's Piers Morgan who needs to be "amended."

A typical European mindset. Follow the collectivist crowd and call for help from America when in trouble.
