TSA Officer Rips Off $500 From Man Who Complained

6a33d_us3_tsa_tb__530_298_80The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) operates under the authority of the Department of Homeland Security. They were federalized under George W. Bush following the 9-11 attacks. Their supposed job is to make air travel safe. In reality, they have demonstrated that they do not make air travel safe, but rather are a nuisance. To add insult to injury they steal from citizens almost daily. One such man who has been convicted of theft is 60-year-old John W. Irwin.

The incident was reccalled by The Virginia Pilot:

According to a statement of facts filed with the court, the passenger advised Transportation Security Administration agents that he had a medical condition and needed to be patted down. The passenger then dropped $520 cash and a pen into a gray plastic bin.

According to the statement, he was also selected for additional screening in a private area. He complained about the screening before agreeing to go with the agent.

Irwin placed the passenger’s cash and pen into a TSA supervisor’s drawer. When the passenger returned from the additional screening, his property was gone, records state.

The passenger asked Irwin what happened to his money, and Irwin told him he had not seen it, records state. The passenger reported the incident to police.

Irwin initially denied to police any knowledge of the money, according to the court statement. He later told police he put the money in his locker, records state. In a statement to police, Irwin wrote, “when the passenger returned and I saw that it was the passenger who had given my fellow employees a hard time. I just didn’t let on that I had the money.”

Becky Akers, writing for LewRockwell.com, notes:

When a passenger complained about the TSA’s singling him out for sexual assault “in a private area” (perhaps the reporter is punning here, but in any case, that “private area” refers to a room, not the victim’s groin), one of his assailants stole $520 from him. The thief admitted that he dropped the money and a pen the gentleman also carried into a drawer; “when the passenger returned [from his 'private'—- in both senses of the word — molestation],” the gate-rapist wrote in a “police report,” “and I saw that it was the passenger who had given my fellow employees a hard time. I just didn’t let on that I had the money.”

Irwin is set to be sentenced in December.

However, this is not an isolated incident. Ipads, jewelry and a host of other passenger items have been stolen, not to mention the naked body scanners that are a clear violation of privacy by the federal government along with the invasive pat downs and searches. While Irwin was caught stealing $500, watch the fellow below explain how he ripped passeengers off as a TSA agent to the tune of $200,000 a year!

TSA are not a problem for me. I refuse to fly on a commercial airplane. If I can’t fly on a small private plane… then I don’t fly.

It seems that the more corrupt any given agency is the more the Obama Regime loves them. It takes those of blind adherence to shady dogma to be able to ignore or over-look what TSA AND other federal agencies are doing to the American people.

It is NOT necessary to grope, pummel and completely disrespect a person in order to determine if they are armed in some way. Eight year old girls and 90 year olds with disabilities are NOT the terrorist type but TSA would have us think they are. More Obama hatred of America showing through here.

And now they are routinely caught STEALING from those they CLAIM they are protecting. Just how low can this administration descend? They’ve thrown open our borders and are stripping our legitimate defenses while defending the conduct of this SHAM agency.

Way to go Leftist America. You’ve nearly succeeded in setting us all up to be killed. A couple more years of you approving of Obama ought to get it done. Just hope you are not on the bottom of the heap when we go down.

People should know better than to be travelling with a large amount of cash like that. Allways take travelers checks when traveling it does prevent problems. The T S A agents would never steal from the traveling public?

That’s what you get when you hire freekin criminals. Also why most legitimate businesses shy away from hiring crooks who should be in the pen.

I HAD A SIMILAR INCIDENT AT KNOXVILLE.I WAS TAKEN TOTALLY OUT OF VIEW OF MY POSSESSIONS FOR A PAT DOWN(VIEW OF MY STUFF WAS BLOCKED BY A BIG SQUARE BOX TYPE MACHINE). WHEN RETRIEVED MY BELONGINGS,I THOUGHT I WAS MISSING $200 CASH BUT LATER REALIZED THAT I WAS MISTAKEN. THE POINT IS THAT I WAS HUSTLED TO A LOCATION WHERE I COULD NOT MONITER THE ACTIONS OF TSA….THIS WAS TOTALLY UNNECESSARY( TSA WAS UNCONCERNED)AND CAUSED SOME CONSTERNATION FOR A FEW MOMENTS, BUT WAS EVENTUALLY DISCUSSED WITH THE SUPERVISOR. THE TSA WERE IN 2001 A MASSIVE GROUP OF “RENT A COP SECURITY” PEOPLE THAT BECAME FEDERALIZED DUE TO 9-11 AND IN MANY CASES IT WENT TO THEIR HEADS BECAUSE THEY NEVER HAD THAT TYPE AUTHORITY AS A PRIVATE CONTRACTED SECURITY FIRM.I AM A RETIRED AIRLINE PILOT(30+ YRS) & WAS HAPPY TO LEAVE THE FINGERNAIL CLIPPER CHECKS IN MY REAR VIEW MIRROR…..& I FLY AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE NOW DUE TO THE HASTLE & ATTITUDE OF MANY OF THE TSA GROUP.

Never trust anything where the federal government is concerned.

  • ROMEGAS

The TSA is more dangerous than the terrorists, because they are Americans, and we should be trusting them.

Obviously, the TSA actively looks for and hires lower-skilled minorities (gets them that minority/female checkoff, and and they pay only the absolute minimum)! Do you honestly think they are getting altruistic saints for this amount? And, just as obviously, these hirees are also opportunists, taking advantage at any instance to make an extra buck, legal or not. Putting such people in those tempting positions is similar to allowing a hungry dog to guard a butcher’s sausage storage area! You just KNOW what is going to happen!

And what a plum a dropped banana peel would be to such a person…

Neil: They are paid well and they are unionized so most will keep their jobs or be moved somewhere else for awhile. I know several that have that job and they are paid well..Remember they are government employees and we pay their wages..

Guess what color they all are?
