October Surprises Turn Into Pre-Election Flops

It appears that two “big” October Surprises are looking like monster flops. Gloria Allred and Donald Trump promised big news concerning Mitt Romney and Barack Obama. Neither actually delivered.

As for the Donald’s big surprise, well, it wasn’t that big. The Daily Mail reported:

Donald Trump is to claim that he has unearthed divorce papers of Michelle Obama and the President, according to a respected financial pundit with links to the tycoon.

It is alleged that the eccentric real estate mogul will claim that the documents show the First Lady and the President were at one point in their two decades of marriage seriously considering splitting up.

Trump set the hare running on Monday by claiming that he was set to make an announcement on Wednesday that would be ‘bordering on gigantic’ and that it would ‘possibly’ change the Presidential race.

How that would ever change the presidential race is beyond anyone’s ability to contemplate. It seems that what Trump did put out was that Obama release all his record for a donation from Trump to the charity of Obama’s choice to the tune of $5 million. Again, we yawn. It seem Trump is good at hype, but poor on delivery.

As for Gloria Allred’s October Surprise? Well, it was just as big a flop, if not bigger than Trumps. She was going to push for sealed testimony in the divorce proceedings between Staples’ CEO Tom Stemberg and his ex-wife, in which Mitt Romney gave a testimony about Stemberg’s role as a father to his four sons. Yeah, I know. Doesn’t look like much of a scandal……because it isn’t.

“Ms. Allred’s client feels that the public needs to know about Governor Mitt Romney’s role in this very important case. Governor Romney is running for President of the United States and this goes to a very important character issues,” an insider revealed.

Robert Jones, an attorney at the Boston law firm of Ropes & Gray, who is representing Romney in this matter told TIME in a statement,

“This is a decades-old divorce case in which Mitt Romney provided testimony as to the value of a company. He has no objection to letting the public see that testimony.”

Apparently all we would discover in this matter is that Romney gave a character witness for Stemberg. Big deal! Seriously, there is enough in Romney’s record and policies, as there are Barack Obama’s, to deal with. These October Surprises would be best suited to be labeled with the season as “tricks” instead of “treats.”

Blah, blah, blah!!! It’s all hot air. Allred is just out to destroy Romney somehow. She’s one of those typical ambulance chasers and a lawyer that deserves all the derogatory names that lawyers are called. Of course, they’re not all like that, but she is the poster child for their bad names and reputations.

After we have all posted our votes, we then can relax, knowing that those votes will be counted by a very respectable SPANISH business owned by SOROS. That’s what I call faith. It is so much easier to believe in the tooth fairy.

Did obama plan an october surprise that backfired on him and got Chris Stevens and the other men killed?
The bottom line is, the WH knew exactly what was happening. Here is my take (actually from a friend). The WH was planning on letting the Amb be taken hostage, then using the blind sheik in a trade for the Amb. This is why he refused more security….Stevens was set up and didn’t know it. But, the WH wasn’t planning on the 2 ex-seals now CIA being there and a firefight was the result. But, the scary thing is if BO would be willing to sacrifice an Amb, what about us? In the Progressive mindset of saving the planet and over population the answer is that we are just numbers. It explains Obamacare and everything else. A few loss of lives here and there is a legitimate means to an end. It explains having the Muslim Brotherhood embedded in our government and Sharia law…all means to an end. It explains UN Agenda 21. All control the population and saves the planet from the population.

I think Allred’s big surprise is a joke. I really don’t care how Mitt testified in a divorce hearing. In over 2 years they have come up with this, his dog in a cage on his car and him bullying some kid when he was a kid. We could fill binders and binders and binders with all the facts said about Obama, many of which are true. As for Donald Trump, I always feel he is out for the publicity and I really liked this one. If O has nothing to hide, wouldn’t it be great to get a 5 million check for his favorite charity for something so simple, the operative word being if you have nothing to hide. I am anxious to see how this plays out. Haven’t heard anything about it on the news yet.

Trump should stick to what he does best – making money and then going bankrupt – how many times did he ‘threaten’ to run for POTUS, then change his mind ? I think we will do well when Romney wins on Nov. 6 ! !
Allred has a record of pure partisan BS, and should just go away – what makes her think she has some sort of ‘moral power’ orauthority, with these last-minute ‘revelations’ – what a hack.
